My wife is driving herself crazy trying to remember a particular song that she used to play to my son a couple of years ago. There are almost no clues to go on and it feels a little futile, but perhaps worth a try...
- Relatively modern - post 2000
- An acoustic song
- By a male artist - someone who's more known for a different type of music - she says 'electronic music' - but this particular song is certainly acoustic
- Song is featuring another male singer. Perhaps not a duet, but certainly two of them involved
- The song is about friendship - old friends etc. May or may not mention friends / friendship in the title
- This is almost certainly a red herring, but she has a feeling the artist's name may be 'Paul' something
If you think the above list is vague, just be glad you're not able to to hear the three notes of the melody that she's able to remember, and is humming repeatedly. Over... and over... and over....
Any suggestions that may save our sanity are welcome. Inevitably when she remembers the song the above clues will all turn out to be incorrect - it'll be a song from the 70s by a female solo singer or something. Apologies in advance for utterly wasting your time, but do please help if you can...
