To go to the Queue in London in my wedding dress?

I'm not getting married tomorrow but I married earlier this summer, the dress has so many special memories for me and I would love to wear it to honour Her Majesty.

What do you honestly think?

Assuming this isn't a troll or a drunk post.

Anyone that sees you will assume you're being attention seeking, not trying to honour the Queen.
I suspect you might well even be turned away. If you look at the live stream, most people are in dark colours. I don't know if there are any regulations on what you wear, but if there are any I would expect you to be turned away.

Attention seeking much?

No as you'll be too cold.
Wear a clown outfit complete with big red nose and spinning bow tie, and when you get to the catafalque and bow whip out a large car horn and honk twice to show your respect.

Much less attention seeking.

NoMichaelNo · 18/09/2022 08:42

Just when I thought we had peaked.

BMW6 · 18/09/2022 08:44

But be careful going down the stairs in your huge clown shoes - sideways is how to negotiate them safely.

SouthernFashionista · 18/09/2022 08:46

Tragic. Attention seeking and ridiculous.

adriftabroad · 18/09/2022 08:46

I think you would offend many people and look like an idiot.

Honestly (and before reading anything other than the opening post) - only do this if you’re after the attention of the media!! And then, of course, the world will know your man name!!

LovedFedAndNoonesDead · 18/09/2022 08:47

*mn name not man name 😭😭

Noteverybodylives · 18/09/2022 08:48

Someone started a thread saying the country had gone mad and I completely disagreed.

I stand corrected.

You must be next level selfish to try and get the attention of people trying to mourn someone.

Very desperate and embarrassing!

TroysMammy · 18/09/2022 08:52

Attention seeking is not attractive.

vera99 · 18/09/2022 08:53

Brilliant troll post but we're not allowed to say that so I didn't.

Chikapu · 18/09/2022 08:55

Think of a less desperate way to get your fifteen minutes love 🙄

Mano2020 · 18/09/2022 09:01

1994girl · 18/09/2022 09:07

RaRaRaspoutine · 18/09/2022 09:07

Aww. Do it, you might cheer some people up.

ThanksItHasPockets · 18/09/2022 09:08

It's giving Miss Havisham

Daydreambeliever1175 · 18/09/2022 09:10

Either you are attention seeking in wanting to this, or you're attention seeking in creating a post that you have no intention of doing.
Either way you're attention seeking!

nomoreflyingfucks · 18/09/2022 09:10

C'mon OP you know the rulz we need a photo of your dressGrin

BruceAndNosh · 18/09/2022 09:10

I imagine using the en route Portaloo would be tricky in a wedding dress
