To go to the Queue in London in my wedding dress?

I'm not getting married tomorrow but I married earlier this summer, the dress has so many special memories for me and I would love to wear it to honour Her Majesty.

What do you honestly think?

🤣🤣 do it, anything goes in the queue, in fact why not add a Cape and a crown, you could go as old liz at the coronation, she'd love it.

BellePeppa · 18/09/2022 07:51

How ridiculous, are you hoping to get your 15 seconds of fame on the telly?

MrsDThomas · 18/09/2022 07:51

WTF?

are you all there?

bbcdefg · 18/09/2022 07:51

No one would really do this would they?

alwaysmovingforwards · 18/09/2022 07:55

How cringingly wonderful! Do it!

Squirrelly1 · 18/09/2022 07:58

Do you feel differently, now you’ve sobered up?

Maytodecember · 18/09/2022 07:59

I’m sure your wedding dress is absolutely delightful but I don’t think the Queen would be terribly interested in it. I don’t know if you’ve heard ( they’ve kept it quiet) but she died, so sadly she won’t get to see your lively dress……

Maytodecember · 18/09/2022 08:00
  • lovely dress.
fortheloveofflowers · 18/09/2022 08:11

It’s about the Queen and not in anyway about you. What attention seeking nonsense and very disrespectful.

FlibbertyGibbitt · 18/09/2022 08:12

Hilarious.

Looneytune253 · 18/09/2022 08:14

Very inappropriate. Almost as bad as the flamboyant gent I seen yesterday in the 'skimpy' union flag clothing. Not appropriate for visiting the queen lying in state

savehannah · 18/09/2022 08:16

The only reason for doing this would be to get on the telly. Which is a) sad and b,) disrespectful

neverbeenskiing · 18/09/2022 08:16

Was the wedding in Maui by any chance?

HaveANiceFuckingDay · 18/09/2022 08:17

Bonkers but do it anyway , it's good to do something bonkers , you'll probably be on the telly too

londonrach · 18/09/2022 08:19

You know the funeral isnt about you. Stop being that bride! Yanvvvvu and unrespectful. I'm shocked you even think this is ok. Beckham dressed right so goggle what he wore.

TeenyDancy · 18/09/2022 08:21

I was reading this thread yesterday then fell asleep. Glad I've found it again.

Have you decided what your doing yet op?

Bloodyusernamechangefailagain · 18/09/2022 08:21

Queenie is dead so she won't see it. But I suppose the tv crews might be interested as it's a batshit crazy thing to do. So you'd get your 5 mins of fame 🤔
Grief tourist!

Brefugee · 18/09/2022 08:22

I'm sure 7 pages of comments say the same thing: it's. Not. About. You.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 18/09/2022 08:24

Hmm I’m not sure. I’d only do it if you could get your bridesmaids and flower girl to join you too. Otherwise you’d just look a bit weird…

nachoavocado · 18/09/2022 08:25

Really disrespectful. Would you wear it to anyone else's funeral?

Flutterbybudget · 18/09/2022 08:26

Surely it depends on the wedding dress. Big white meringue is an absolute “no no”, but lots of people just have a smart dress/ outfit to get married in, and if that makes you feel respectful or good about wearing it, go for it.

pd339 · 18/09/2022 08:27

Thanks for giving me a laugh this morning!

sponsabillaries · 18/09/2022 08:28

Unless the Queen attended your wedding I really can’t see any link between the two events.

Micecrospies · 18/09/2022 08:29

this is the best one yet.

LouLou198 · 18/09/2022 08:36

A family has lost their mother and grandmother, please don't do this!
