I'm not getting married tomorrow but I married earlier this summer, the dress has so many special memories for me and I would love to wear it to honour Her Majesty.

What do you honestly think?

Thanks for the laughs OP.

Your an attention seeker.show some respect and stop taking attention away from the dead.

BruceAndNosh · 18/09/2022 05:20

Some people said David Beckham was an attention seeker cos he wore a hat in the queue.
OP :Hold my beer...

Well in some ways the royal family has become a publicity / social media phenomenom so wear the wedding dress and do it. Take your fam along in costume!

generalh · 18/09/2022 06:09

You just want to be on the telly! I mean who wouldn't stand out in a crowd/ queue with that outfit on.

Marvellousmadness · 18/09/2022 06:18

🤣

Costacoffeeisbetterthansex · 18/09/2022 06:18

I see you got married in 2007 Holly. Can’t you remember your wedding date?

LuftBalloons · 18/09/2022 06:34

This has to be a joke (a bad one) because otherwise it’s unbelievably narcissistic.

HeddaGarbeld · 18/09/2022 06:56

Take your bridesmaids with you in their bridesmaid dresses. Then when the queue is a bit slow, you can all do a flash mob dance to ‘The Time Of My Life’ from Dirty Dancing.

Starlia · 18/09/2022 07:01

You have special memories wearing that dress so you want to wear it to an event that has nothing to do with you??

You sound unhinged.

Do you behave this way at other people's events?

Softplayhooray · 18/09/2022 07:05

There's another thread on AIBU right now titled 'Is the UK suffering from mass hysteria' and based on this thread the answer is YES

MarshaBradyo · 18/09/2022 07:06

That it’s a joke thread?

Seeleyboo · 18/09/2022 07:13

Is that you Meghan.

Fraaahnces · 18/09/2022 07:17

God, I can’t wait until this batshittery is over

FourChimneys · 18/09/2022 07:20

This is peak bonkersness.

Shitfather · 18/09/2022 07:24

Is this the same troll who posted about getting her books signed in the queue/ distributing them?

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 18/09/2022 07:25

I was thinking of hiring a Postman Pat outfit from the Fancy Dress shop. I thought the link of a postman and stamps would be a touching tribute to the Queen although to be honest it was quite costly to hire. The banana was much cheaper but then I saw that the Queue was closed.
So that was that, the banana suit went back on the rack and I went home.

Bananarama21 · 18/09/2022 07:26

Attending seeking and inappropriate

Bananarama21 · 18/09/2022 07:26

Attention seeking and inappropriate

YanTanTetheraPetheraPimp · 18/09/2022 07:27

Utterly ridiculous and attention seeking.

DarceyG · 18/09/2022 07:28

This probably is a ‘writer’ from the newspaper. They piss me off, I was invested in a thread the person seemed so desperate for help then it was in the daily mail! Made me not want to offer support m, there’s no point if it’s bloody made up.

Thistooshallpass01 · 18/09/2022 07:38

Hope you are having fun trolling

notprincehamlet · 18/09/2022 07:43

Sure, why not. Next!

JaneyBrowns · 18/09/2022 07:44

I genuinely don't see the logical connection between your wedding dress/ happy memories and honouring the Queen.

It suggests you think she ought to 'approve' or be touched that you are wearing your special dress for her.

It's really not about you.

Nomorefuckstogive · 18/09/2022 07:47

Please don’t. It’s horribly attention seeking.
