I think Harry has a lot of anger and baggage over what happened to his mother. It's very telling that he picked a wife that seems quite narcissistic & obsessed with her image. Marrying an TV soap actress was a really bad choice.

I don't know at what point they are going to realise they are on a hiding to nothing with all this. They aren't going to change people's minds now, they will probably just make things worse for themselves.

I think Harry is still massively hurting over what happened to his Mum, and Meghan is enabling this public lashing out at his family. Its only going to create more hurt in the long run, it isn't going to make everything better.

They need to do what they apparently set out to do and live their lives out of the spotlight. At the moment (and obviously im not including very current events in this), they don't seem to be doing this and seem to be inserting themselves into the limelight time and time again.

I'm sure everyone wished them well when they left and all they had to do was not mention the royal family ever, and live their lives. Surely that was easy to do and everyone would have been happy? Instead they have actively sought conflict and stoked the flames regularly. Of course he should cancel the book but I'm afraid he won't, just based on everything else they have done since leaving. The actions tell us who they are.

Sadly Harry seems to be an incredibly weak man who is easily influenced by people around him who want to mould him to their will, for their own gain.

Harry needs to wake up and smell the coffee...Selling stories about his family is pretty low.

Everyone else is there to serve that. You are not an individual , you are part of a team. She married the spare. She might gave coped better if she had married the heir. He wasn't available.

@Watapalava I think the fact that she comes across as a “bitch” is part of what people see as racially motivated bias against her. Half of journalists surveyed for the press gazette said that they felt the coverage of her was racist 50% say coverage of Meghan has been racist and there was a buzz feed article that went viral comparing how the press treated Kate versus Meghan. It’s always hard to prove racist intentions, but whatever the motivator, they did give her a very hard time in the press compared to Kate. Also, it does sound like they got racist comments from the family behind closed doors.

@Watapalava the point is that, once some people realised she was mixed racist, there was a section of the press and the public who started in with the racism. The daily Mail examples about Compton arc have been shared a lot. Danny Baker lost his job for his pathetic effort. It did happen. It obviously upset both Harry and Meghan a lot.

Nevertheless, being at war with his own dad and brother, neither of whom have been accused of racism, isn’t going to help their mental health.

If we now get a round of interviews where they moan about how they were treated at this time, they'll probably be disinvited from the coronation.

This is getting really tiresome. I'll break it down.

1. Are all black people good?
2. Are all white people bad?

If the answer go each question an obvious "No" then you really have to stop accusing people of bias when there are other perfectly valid reasons for their dislike.

I think Harry should do whatever is best for Harry.

Harry probably needs the money. Harry is following his parents footsteps. They both shared stories with the tabloid. I think even Charles has shared how difficult his upbringing is. - I think there Royal should give them an Olive branch bury the Hatchett.

I cant believe that anyone could watch that video clip and think anything other than Harry made the decision to leave. Or that Meghan did not face racism in the UK media.

Why would he cancel his book? He wants people to know what it was like for him, growing up in the way he did. We all want to see that as a fairy tale, but it isn't.

He is never going back to the Royal family in an official capacity.
