To be impressed that Holly and Phil queued to see the Queen

I saw on the news today that they both paid their respects. I know MPs got tickets to jump the queue which is fair enough given how busy they are running the country, but obviously run of the mills celebrities don't get that sort of treatment. We haven't seen many celebrities actually pay tribute given they wouldn't want to queue so long, so I was quite touched to see the picture of them walking through. True British gems.

I agree this makes it worse. It’s a lie and a demonstrable one which is so insulting to our intelligence. At this point, unless one of them defecates on live TV I think we’re stuck with them.

I’m not sure what the set up for the “press room” is. Because in the photos where they’re walking through the hall (filing past the coffin) there are some people going in the opposite direction. Phil and Holly look like they’ve maybe just come down some steps and the people in the opposite direction look like they’re about to go up some. So do you have to walk through the hall to get to the press room? So in their minds maybe they weren’t filing past. I’m not sure if this is the case and if it is I don’t know why there needs to be a press room over looking the hall? Does it have a window like a viewing gallery? Seems a bit mawkish. 🤷‍♀️

I vote Ruth and Rylan. They are great on This Morning. I think Holly and Phil have had a good run and need to move over for someone else now before they need to be pushed.

They didn't queue, as you well know, their crap TV programme said they didn't queue. Also said they didn't actually walk past the coffin. That I find weird for that pair of poseurs.

I would rather wait and watch the clips that will appear on you tube and other social media. Wouldn’t want to give them extra ratings as they will then think that they are popular and it’s another reason to keep them
