To be impressed that Holly and Phil queued to see the Queen

I saw on the news today that they both paid their respects. I know MPs got tickets to jump the queue which is fair enough given how busy they are running the country, but obviously run of the mills celebrities don't get that sort of treatment. We haven't seen many celebrities actually pay tribute given they wouldn't want to queue so long, so I was quite touched to see the picture of them walking through. True British gems.

David Beckham was able to queue like everyone else but MPs get to jump the queue. People recognise David Beckham but probably wouldn't recognise many of the MPs even if they fell over them!

It was 20 minutes I believe and you try standing stock still and composed next to your mother’s coffin in front of TV cameras while hundreds of people file past you. Personally I would consider that quite an ordeal.

They did not queue, they were there as ‘press’ and went through to Westminster Hall via a press route, so they jumped the queue in effect. Therefore they are not amazing or special, and I’d be bloody annoyed if I had been in that queue freezing my butt off for hours and those 2 smug so and so’s waltzed in without having to wait. MP’s are also not having to queue.
David Beckham joined the queue with everyone else and waited his turn, as did Suzanna Reid and her Mum.

Honesty if you have twitter give it a read right now. It is kicking off about holly and Phil and so many people calling for them to resign/be sacked due to using their power to get press passes meaning they can skip the queue. Like they are all saying they aren't even part of the weekend's tv coverage and aren't even journalists so it wasn't for a work capacity at all. Makes great reading. Surely they've got to bring statements out now to try and water down all of the heat around them.

I’m not a fan of Beckham but kudos to him for queuing for 12 hours, you could tell he was tired and exhausted like everyone else who queued by the time he got to the hall. As for Holly and Phil, the biggest attention seekers out there. I really don’t understand why they think they are something special,they are not. Whatever anyone thinks of him, Beckham did his 12/13 hours in the queue and it obviously meant a lot to him. The totally fake vibe that PS and HW permanently exude was particularly strong today and I'm glad to see them (particularly him) being called out for once.
