Yes definitely! Love the Poldark books but never got on with either of the TV series.

Not a true romantic pairing, but I love the relationship between Daniel and Gwendolyn in Daniel Deronda.

Forget Jamie and Claire. You need to meet Francis Crawford of Lymond and - well, I won't say who. You need to see it unfold over the series.

Joey and Pacey (Dawson's Creek) and Syndey and Michael (Alias). Loved Moonlighting too when younger, couldn't wait for them to get together.
