So yes it is being hysterical to talk about not going into work, losing a days pay or having no childcare when most places of business and schools have said they are not closing.

when my Dad died there was a queue for the crematorium - maybe he same problem.
Although the funeral director said it's always a problem in thw winter months, so maybe not.

Yep you definitely don’t have DCs.

There have been some technical issues with the change of PM and reshuffle which have delayed some of the things that need to happen before the funeral date is announced. Expect to hear tomorrow for sure (unlikely to be Saturday due to this, there's a relatively strict timeline that will be followed)

Fuck! The 19th! I got a last minute appointment for my children with their nurse that day! By some miracle I am off work, and I even joked after I high fives the air with him, "let's see what disaster will scupper this plan!"
They are a year over due for this appointment and they go to adult services in a couple of months and the wait list for that is about a year 🥲
Hopefully the NHS will get a day in lieu as so much will have been organised, surgeries, investigations, treatments.
