Why isnt Charles thought to be a good name?

Liz Truss making a statement outside no. 10. She did look like a rabbit caught in the headlights when she first stood at the lectern.

No matter what you think of LT that is a tough gig on your second day in office.

Truss's undramatic presenting style is good for this. I'm so glad Boris has gone

Age and wisdom have given Liz an appreciation of the Queen it seems (she now regards her as an inspiration).

Because of the first two, I'm guessing.

Charles didn't sign the statement with a name or title.

Never thought I would miss boris and I dont, but I think his speech would have been better than this lustless drone

Was just discussing this with DD. I thought he may become King George VII as the other King Charleses didn't fare too well, but they've announced he'll be Charles III

Not surprised in the choice though. The royals are too well known by their names now because of social media and television to switch from Prince a Charles to King George imo
