to worry about transgender ideology being pushed on kids

Noella McHaher is a ten year old model whose parents said she “self identified” as a girl at the age of two. Her parents are also trans.

If my two year old identified as a smoker, I wouldn’t allow them cigarettes. Why is this movement so hellbent on putting children into boxes instead of letting them just grow up without defined labels?

Speaking generally, there is a link between children who “hate” their biological sex and child abuse. Children who have been SA sometimes self harm as a way of trying to prevent further abuse. I’m worried that these signs are being missed.

am I alone on this?

Agreed and those who can't or won't see that are deeply, unambiguously misogynistic.

TheKeatingFive · 31/08/2022 14:43

You don’t have a body you are a body.

we're just a body with no control or thought

These are different statements. The words you added changed the meaning.

Whatwouldscullydo · 31/08/2022 14:43

Everyone knows what a woman is. We all came.our of one.

The idea its so confusing because we had or hadn't had a chromosome check is absurd.

Funny how this didn't even exist in many parts of the world. Transgenderism is a first world problem . It exists only outside of Western countries where being gay gets you killed.

Why don't you tell us what you think a woman is @Trying20 and also what you think a man is?

It doesn't matter about corner cases in any definition - women is that adult human female which is basically anyone with xx or xxx chromosomes

Sone people have chromosome defects - these are rare , and utterly irrelevant to being transgender

Humans have 2 legs. So some are born without 2 legs - it means there is something wrong with them not that there is ambiguity about how many legs a human has

If the definition wasn't clear then people with DSD would not have any disorders would they ?

TheKeatingFive · 31/08/2022 14:51

I think both of them are grim thoughts.

The first one is the kind of simple fact we'd all do well to remember

Saying that all people who have given birth are women is not the same as saying only people who have given birth are women.

This.

The existence of humans without 2 legs doesn't mean humans can be spiders

You had zero problem defining one in an experience you had which you told on another thread though, didn't you?

Whatwouldscullydo · 31/08/2022 14:52

Adult human female.

Not every woman and girl has a baby. But only women and girls have babies.

midgetastic · 31/08/2022 14:53

Adult human female

Female - of the type expected to be able to give birth at sone point in their lives

Not had given

Not has the capability

But expected to have the capability

To the extent that if they can't make a baby doctors will investigate

Whereas a man who can't get pregnant - well that doesn't need investigation does it?

There was certainly a lot of male musicians in the 70,s and 80,s that had long hair and wore makeup some of that was glam rock and Boy George and Marilyn later came out as Gay ,but it was never insinuated they were anything other than male

Exactly. Girls could wear workboots, boys could wear eyeliner, no one gave a damn. My favourite toy as a child was a toolkit, one of my little-boy friends loved dolls. No one grew up thinking they were in the wrong body.

So when did the genderists dig out the old sex-stereotype straitjacket and force children into it? And why are they being allowed to do it?

They didn't need to it's been patently fucking obvious for centuries and still is

Totally!

I doubt once in history they've observed a child born with a penis and said "well check their chromosomes just to see if they can vote or not".

That's why I get so frustrated at "assigned sex at birth"

You aren't assigned sex. You are born with a penis or vagina.

The few cases where neither were formed clearly do have medical intervention and sex is assigned.

But it's not 50% of the population like stonewall would try and make us believe.

You're not wrong OP. It is very worrying indeed. Weird times we are living in right now. Especially as you get cancelled for expressing your concerns about it all.

Good post and excellently presented points

Don't you dare suggest there is a lady brain and expect me to have any respect for any argument you can give

I am beyond pissed at people who think there is a lady brain and with that are totally happy to discount any female who can do things that don't fit the lady brain stereotypes and use that as an excuse to pay women less, ignore them, abuse them as less good then men

Female is about reproductive biology and fuck all else

Ofcourseshecan · 31/08/2022 15:01

So if a woman is what we all came out of, someone who hasn't had anyone coming out of them is... not a woman? Don't think that one quite works, does it?

Of course it doesn't work, and no one has suggested it does except you.

Every labradoodle is a dog. Not every dog is a labradoodle. Just as everyone who gives birth is a woman or girl, but not every woman or girl gives birth. As you know.

I'm loving your posts!

And the worse thing about calling it lady brain is they then excuse me from simple fucking tasks blaming it on male brain.

Men can do things - society hasn't expected them too because they think they are the superior sex.

It's all bollocks
