Women blocked on DH What's App

Footbal · 25/08/2022 17:31

Feel sick to my stomach writing this. Currently on holiday with DH and 3DC. DH went to the shop and left his phone on the table. I never go near his phone but I checked it.

No messages on what's app or text messages that were suspicious. Nothing on his email in the inbox sent or archived.

On his Whats App contacts there were three female contacts I don't know. One was a picture of a girl and her name the other two were saved under initials and they were in lingerie but couldn't see their faces with suggestive emoji after their name. He had them all blocked and no conversations.

I don't know what to do. I've never ever doubted him. He works really hard for our family. He's loving affectionate and attentive towards me.

@OneTC, Don't know what you find so funny. If you read my previous post you would see that I have been unwell lately so feeling quite low. We are together 24 years and he is my best friend and have never had an ounce of doubt..

Sorry

if not one ounce of doubt.

A. Why are you checking his phone? I’ve never once checked my husbands phone and I don’t even know how to unlock it!

B. Why does you’re mind go straight to affair?!? Or escort?!?

ClaireEclair · 25/08/2022 22:16

My Instagram account is private but with a male profile photo (character from a film) and generic surname. I’m blocking scantily clad spam bots all day.

CapMarvel · 25/08/2022 22:16

OP, gently, you've massively overreacted.

It'll just be spambots.

Londonactive · 25/08/2022 22:19

AnnaFri · 25/08/2022 22:13

Based on what the OP has described it's multiple scam accounts

No saved conversations, images in sexy undies

The fact they're bloody blocked too

A person deleting conversations means nothing lol.
And I'm NOT saying he's cheating, I'm saying nobody really knows.

Golaz · 25/08/2022 22:19

OP this is nothing and you should not be checking your DH’s phone and email: this is a massive violation of privacy and trust.

PutinSmellsPassItOn · 25/08/2022 22:24

I get dozens of spam messages like this.....I block all of them. It sounds like this could be something similar.

mingebags · 25/08/2022 22:30

The utter fucking hysteria on this thread, honestly. Why are so many of you desperate to prey on OP's insecurities?

There is very clearly nothing going on here, please stop gaslighting her. This website is meant to be about women supporting other women, not women being absolute fucking lunatics and trying to shred other marriages apart.

What the fuck is wrong with you all?

BogOffTraceyBeaker · 25/08/2022 22:38

Get the numbers and message them a friend gave you their number

het number and so a Google reverse number search

forevertiredx · 25/08/2022 22:40

Um if it was a spam/bot account why would they be saved under initials/names? Even on whatsapp it just comes up with a mobile number. You don't save bot accounts to your phone under names. Wtf.

Another idiot

You can set your WhatsApp to public and your picture and name are visible to unknown people you try to message

Jellybean23 · 25/08/2022 22:44

I've had two or three weird WhatsApp or text messages from strangers wanting to be friends. I think it's common, Husband had a spate of 'beautiful Russian ladies' contact him. We laughed it off.

NewTattoo · 25/08/2022 22:48

I had one of these ( with half naked Asian lady photo) offering to cure my ‘sexual impotence and erectile difficulty!’

She’d have her work cut out curing an almost 60 year old lady!😆

I would say this is def. a scam OP!!

echobunnies · 25/08/2022 22:51

I blocked a number the other day which was a spam account with a picture of a scantily clad lady. So I’d give him the benefit of the doubt at least initially.

That’s how I caught my boyfriend cheating on me. He was meeting men for casual sex hook ups. I had a bad feeling hence the reason I went through his phone. I dumped him in the spot. Snooping through his phone saved me. I’m glad I did it.

Chohlin654 · 25/08/2022 23:00

I've never had a scam text on WhatsApp

I'd call his bluff and ring the number

PurpleFlower1983 · 25/08/2022 23:01

They will be scams, I have some like this on my whatsapp.

PurpleFlower1983 · 25/08/2022 23:02

I got this one…

Women blocked on DH What's App
Rainbowshit · 25/08/2022 23:04

I'm female and I have several women in lingerie blocked on WhatsApp who have contacted me out of the blue.

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 25/08/2022 23:11

what you found sounds most likely to be totally fine OP

only thing that is raising more of a red flag for me is wondering why you felt the need to check - is your subconscious telling you something?

sweeneytoddsrazor · 25/08/2022 23:14

How is calling the number going to help exactly? There are plenty of scams like this, OP has already been told by multiple pp that it is very likely to be a scam, her DH has also told her its a scam. So she calls them anyway. Scammers now have confirmation of a number, and her DH knows she doesn't trust him. Does that leave her in a better position?

MummySusie · 25/08/2022 23:30

Christmasiscominghohoho · 25/08/2022 19:38

You wouldn’t save the numbers of scam accounts under initials.

Sounds like sex workers he’s spoke to and blocked them so they can’t chat when you are around.

Unfortunately agree.
Watch and wait.
Once you raise your suspicions if anything is going on he'll never leave his phone around again and delete any evidence.

BlodynGwyn · 25/08/2022 22:07

I would be livid if my husband went through my phone or computer. I'd never trust the fucker again.

Oh my god yes, it's the most insane untrustworthy thing anyone could ever do! You're so spot on!

wherearebeefandonioncrisps · 25/08/2022 23:37

If you felt the need to check his phone... it's time to talk.
