Women blocked on DH What's App

Feel sick to my stomach writing this. Currently on holiday with DH and 3DC. DH went to the shop and left his phone on the table. I never go near his phone but I checked it.

No messages on what's app or text messages that were suspicious. Nothing on his email in the inbox sent or archived.

On his Whats App contacts there were three female contacts I don't know. One was a picture of a girl and her name the other two were saved under initials and they were in lingerie but couldn't see their faces with suggestive emoji after their name. He had them all blocked and no conversations.

I don't know what to do. I've never ever doubted him. He works really hard for our family. He's loving affectionate and attentive towards me.

A bit of drama, because they have t got enough going on in their own sad lives. It’s so horrible and unnecessary.

Am also being spammed by WhatsApp bitcoin offers! Is that the new fake lottery win scam?

I've got people blocked on my WhatsApp that Ive never interacted with. No idea who they are but theyre also wearing lingerie in their profile pics and they just randomly messaged me asking if I wanted to meet up and play golf!

It’s soooo easy to find out if they’re spam or actual escorts. Takes 10 seconds to find this out.

on a seperate note if my husband, and I’m female, checked my phone he would find the same thing, spam accounts from random women who have offered sex services, god knows how they get the number.

I think you need to address the very very significant problems in your relationship.

What we're the country dialling codes for the numbers you found? The ones I've blocked are not UK numbers.

I have about 10 numbers like that blocked.

OP, your husband sounds lovely and really open and genuine. I don't believe you have any cause for concern about him. You're one of the lucky ones. I hope your health improves soon.

I know how what’s app works. Iv used it for years.
You don’t need to save the number to block it.
Myself and my partner have also used it for years and never received ‘sexy spam’

How????? My ex used to block women he was speaking to when we were together so that he wouldn't receive communication from then that I may hear/see. I have NEVER had a random naked woman message me on WhatsApp

Husband just got one, but our daughter has had dozens.
She blocks everything immediately.

However, I'm confused. Could anybody explain to me why he would have them saved in his phone if they're spam? Whenever I've had a spam message, I just block the number immediately. I don't have to save their number.

I've just checked my blocked numbers on WhatsApp out of interest and none of them have names against them, just the numbers, because they're not saved as my contacts.

I'm genuinely intrigued as to how these scammers, if it is a scam, can save themselves in your phone book as a contact.

Sex spammers are a known issue on WhatsApp

He hasn't saved them

You can have public WhatsApp accounts

Which even if you don't know the person will then show your name and picture if you attempt to message

That's how the sex spam works

Wouldn't be effective if you couldn't have an image visible even as a cold message

But that's due to being a public account. Not from being saved

No saved conversations, images in sexy undies

i get women messaging me in scantily clad underwear asking id like to go to their website etc

its a well known thing

i block and move on. I couldn’t bare the thought of my husband looking through my phone and thinking something of these disgusting humans who try to scam you!!! Men and woman. They don’t care.
