Porn culture has led to women suffering injuries during sex

Doyoumind · 12/08/2022 10:01

Apart from all the violence etc porn portrays as normal, anal sex is definitely treated as an everyday thing that women enjoy. I don't personally. I know some women claim they do but I've certainly known men who pressure for it and I'm guessing it's only got worse in the years since I was dating.

This article suggests women are unknowingly entering into something that can cause serious injuries.

But at least they’ll know about sex outside the missionary position. That’s what matters.

Old Pol has to double down, as if she really questioned herself in this she'd have to come to terms with the fact that she'd made some very dubious parenting choices.

Bet her kids don't dare to question the morality or validity of anything sexual. I bet they've learned to scorn and dismiss their own natural boundaries or initial feelings of revulsion about the explicit concepts she has introduced them to before they can even consent to normal sex. I bet the only shame they feel is when she is scathing them for being narrow-minded prudish bigots. Freedom indeed.

@excitingusername

Of course they question things sexually

It's called open discussions, which are encouraged in my house.

You are aware that stigmatisation simply drives issues underground, children are getting 'education' from porn which is leading to pretty shitty (pun intended) consequences. Mainly for women and girls.

Why you'd want to continue that is beyond me

Fifife · 13/08/2022 08:15

Do you ever have constipated large bowel movements? I have and I'm not incontinent I've also needed an enema in the past for constipation after an operation still not incontinent. I work in healthcare and the people who are doubly incontinent are usually 70+ caused by Dementia not because they had a cock up their backside too many times.

First, you're not privy to that information about your patients so you wouldn't know. Second, that generation didn't 'normalise' anal sex. The numbers engaging with it would be far far fewer.

PollyRockets · 13/08/2022 08:56

@excitingusername

Plenty of older women had anal sex, most just had very bad experiences with it.

My own grandmother for example.

She often told me and any of my cousins in earshot that back in her day men used it as a way to 'punish' their wives and it seemed relatively widespread among her friends, Co-workers and her army of Avon ladies (so she called them!)

If people want to have anal sex they should, but they should be armed with the knowledge on how to do it as safely as possible. Currently people aren't aware due to media influence.

Why you have an issue with education is beyond me considering the consequences for women, and men.

So if your kiddy proved they had far more conservative tastes than you despite your grooming efforts and said 'nope, these things are disgusting and wrong' you're saying you don't react with the same kneejerk vehemence, anger and shaming that you have done here? I bet they wouldn't dare given the way you are on here!

Freedom means freedom to tell you to shove your sexual 'progressiveness' up your own jacksy love.

The stigma and shame you promote is that not being open to all manner of sexual deviances is the wrongthink. You project mature, adult sexual behaviour on to your children and others. From your posts you have assumed that their sex lives will automatically involve pornified brutality.

I get it though - teaching them that the world is getting it wrong is far harder than just capitulating to the culture around you.

threetimesacharm · 13/08/2022 09:03

Lots of comments about doing it with someone you trust.

Because no has ever been raped or assaulted or had things be taken too far by someone they trust.

sunglassesonthetable · 13/08/2022 09:07

*There is a lot of information available already for gay and bi men about anal sex but very little for women and it is interesting to see that the difference in the female anatomy can make the act even trickier. That needs to be acknowledged so that they can make an informed decision as to whether they want to do this or not.

I think teenager boys and girls need more support and education to understand the importance of consent and boundaries.*

yes 👍🏻

I imagine the conversations she has with her children are based around information giving and not her telling them that she has anal sex and how pleasurable she finds it.

I read this piece as well and thought it was about time that this was discussed.

Yet another result of porn being so readily available and too many men thinking that what they see in these videos is actually a realistic depiction of sex and should be copied.

I am so sick and tired of women being routinely harmed because someone fancies rough sex or can't grasp that women are not porn stars.

Yes, some women will enjoy anal sex but for most it is a grim experience and it would be silly to ignore the physical risks attached to it. Let's just say it like it is.

We really need to stop that pressure to just go along with whatever sex act is promoted by porn because if we don't we are ''prudes'' or ''pearl clutchers''.

Porn makes things mainstream and then if its mainstream we should be educated on it

HRTQueen · 13/08/2022 09:14

I’m guessing those that are deliberately being obtuse about anal sex can be safe if done correctly also use terms like breath play with nonsense claims about safely chocking someone

it can be made safer that is not meaning it’s safe and without risk of harm there is a difference we all know that

there are lots of articles online aimed at young women often teenagers about safe anal sex and how great it is if done safely and where do people turn to now for advice

there needs to be equal amount of articles from the same publishers directed at young women about the dangers but our society is so influenced by porn that advising how women should be sexually adventurous and man pleasing is now the agenda not women’s safety and dignity

I complained to YouTube about having so called safe breath play advice generic email replies they couldn’t give a fuck about (mainly) women’s safety

So your Grandmother talks about an anal rape culture that existed and yet your response towards women who despise the concept of anal and think it is outright dangerous is to shame and berate them.

Children don't need a zealous libtard domineering their sex ed in their efforts to promote the wokest most PC version of it possible. They need to know they can also be genuinely disgusted and outright dismissive of the things you sexually-sanctimonious adults are insisting they be 'open-minded' about.

Libtard?

Wonder how old you are and which papers you read Grin

Gosh you're everything wrong with the older generation. At least my gran was able to talk openly about her sexual experiences.

The fact is it can be made safe

Not everyone who has anal sex ends up leaking from their bumhole

A small portion do

Well I wouldn't tell them I enjoy it as I don't

Never claimed to like anal sex myself

I don't enjoy many normal sexual practices, doesn't mean I think they're abhorrent and dirty

A key distinction between the way some on here think

You're so delusional about age and what that means for people's thinking - it does prove you lack insight. I may well be younger than you. But deflect away won't you. Anyway, 'Mothers for buggery' sounds like a great cause. You go girl!

PollyRockets · 13/08/2022 09:34

@excitingusername

I can almost guarantee you are not

One look at the terminology you use and the way you conduct a disagreement proves this quite nicely

Thankfully views such as yours are dying out and children are being raised to question things respectfully instead of judging others.

..,....,...,
You have quite a way with words. Unfortunately, you don't sound very intelligent. It's okay to change your mind or agree with some of what the others are saying. We have seen women who enjoy anal sex admit there are risks, but for some reason you are dead against talking to your own children, because those same people support that idea. You're just very blinkered.

I don't think a single person here is doing what you think. Education illuminates dangers, it includes letting girls know that they don't have to do it, instead of being told by their peers that "everyone does it". They can hear from a teacher, an adult, that they don't have to do it.

You have the patience of a saint PollyRockets

sunglassesonthetable · 13/08/2022 09:37

See, they're not allowed to have judgement about anything, however degrading an act or what it involves. They have to be open to everything lest they commit wrongthink.

You have erased their boundaries with religious zeal.

Anyway, continue with your moral crusade for sphincter play.
