Love this program, I am definitely Julia with a hint of Liz..... we have an identical to Amanda in our school..

AIBU to ask which character you relate to the most and why?

I think everyone is taking Julia a bit too seriously - I think she's less malicious than you're making out!

I love the programme but maybe more Liz if any. Julia stresses me out, constant forgetfulness or lack of planning, rushing etc.

I agree. I enjoyed the first series, but the next couple annoyed me. The characters are caricatures with few redeeming features. Workiin' Moms is so much better.

Love Motherland and watched it before my oldest started P1 to prep myself for Amandas haha. I always thought that I was a weird mix between Anne and Liz. I do have anxiety so can't just relax and chat with other mums whilst being out with kids for example for Halloween and often fell like I am a bit all over the place. Or I just go straight into being Liz and basically thinking 'f* it kids are fed and well so I am just gonna survive through this day' . Hahaha

Its on Netflix now - I couldn't find it in iPlayer either and randomly stumbled across it on Netflix a couple weeks ago. All three series i think!

I got Julia on the quiz, I can be a bit of a stress head but not quite as chaotic as her.

One of those Hygge interior design shops opened up in my town recently, every time I walk past it all I can think of is "shit shop".

Just re(binge)watched motherland on Netflix
But annoyed that series 3isnt on there. In our last school we definitely had each character from the show which is what made it so funny. I think Julia is hilarious in it in things like swimming pool scene, rushing to school and stressing about school shoes. If only they'd made her a little less of a user and a bit more likeable. As it is, I end up just feeling a bit annoyed at her. The only character I found more annoying was meg. I had a Liz character in real life friend group and she was awesome!
