To ask...Truss or Sunak?

It's no surprise that these two are on the final ticket.

I assume Truss will win, which means there'll probably be another leadership election in about a year. She's already announced that she'll 'hit the ground on day one.' The word 'running' would have really helped there.

I think she would be a gift for Labour - Rishi is a far better candidate, despite being an entirely imperfect one.

Whaddyall think?

Truss.

Sunak is worse than Johnson. Plus, his wife takes Russian money and he has ZERO economic sense.

HRTQueen · 24/07/2022 11:57

Im not sure who would do better in the next GE I think maybe Sunak so would prefer Truss wins

Truss comes across as awkward but this has improved be interesting to see her in PM questions

I think Sunak can handle public debate better and appears more confident and playing the I shall follow where Thatcher left off card is a winner for many votes but being so closely linked to Johnson and his wife’s status is an issue for him

He’s got more than Truss who wants to make £30 billion tax cuts funded with borrowed money. That doesn’t sound much like economic sense to me.

It was always Sunak, the rest is just theatre

I'm not getting upset. I just find your modus operandi tiresome.

That’s not what polls of the Tory membership show.

@Azizai look at the polls, even though you take them with a pinch of salt. Liz Truss is very likely to win, just hope her uselessness is exposed in tomorrow evening's tv debate.

Too bad - this is a public forum.

And the fact that it is a public forum means that I can make that point every time I see you do it.

Tough if you don't like it.
