Opposition MPs are quiet about it too, it's odd.

Too many skeletons in their cupboards possibly too.

I think politicians of all parties are learning that you can make a big noise and call opposite numbers out for terrible behaviour yes, but you then have to die by the same sword should your own (or colleagues) similar behaviours come to light further down the line.

People quite rightly hate liars and pisstakers, but they hate hypocrites even more.

Urgh god. My stomach is turning thinking about his horrid little cock.

My god, let alone someone sucking it

Can this clown embarrass the office of PM anymore.
The world must be laughing at him
Will he resign?
No of course not.

WaitroseWoman · 30/06/2022 14:15

13% of votes from teenage boys and Tory HQ so far.

Oh please!! As if Kier Starmer would ever behave like that?! Are you serious?!

This "they're all the same" is such a total cop out from people who can't be arsed to engage their critical faculties and actually read the news or bother to follow current affairs properly.

(Watching This Morning doesn't count as current affairs btw).

Florenz · 30/06/2022 14:19

I don't know about Starmer himself but there will have been politicians on the left that have engaged in sexual relations while at work, for absolute certain. Look at Kennedy. Look at Clinton.

Whatever Theresa May's shortcomings were, I can't imagine her indulging in oral sex in the office.

You know what, I really think the way Theresa May was utterly crucified for being a bit robotic in front of the camera, whilst Boris gets away with scandal after scandal, is the perfect example to show anyone how misogynistic our society is.

A mother of 8 children (or more?) from various different dads would not ever become PM (even if she had the time to do so). She would be derided and hated by the public and certainly not be considered a bit of a lad, a bit silly but charming. (I don’t see Bojo as that but many do.)

A woman caught in a sex act at work would not become PM, or probably ever recover her career. It just makes me so angry that the standards are so different. Men can literally do what the fuck they want and still get judged less than women…or somehow it will get pinned on a woman as her fault.

How far back do people really need to keep going to find 'dirt' on him?

How does Carrie giving him a BJ years ago really affect the job he's doing today?

Irrespective of what you think of him, juicy/gossipy details from years ago being plastered all over the media isn't helping our country one bit.

and NO, not Tory HQ. Just bigger worries about Ukraine/cost of living/strikes/etc. to give a shit about BJ getting a BJ years ago.

I suspect even his wife at the time gives less of a fuck about it than people here getting their dander up!

I'd agree, there's far worse things happening in the world. Also Boris needs to face up to the mistakes he personally made about Covid. That's a bigger deal.

But this is the same girlfriend/mistress that he was trying to get into a £100K a year Govt job with no interview. Well, not the kind of interview I've ever had...

😂

Did Blair, Brown and Cameron get caught shagging when they were ministers of state or shadow ministers of state?

Where did I mention Kier Starmer???

I was simply musing an answer to a PP question wondering why opposition politicians were quiet on this when other sources aren't.

I happen to think many politicians are seedy and badly behaved on all sides of the political spectrum. Truly moral and trustworthy humans in the House of Commons are pretty thin on the ground.

Matt Hancock was caught on camera and reported on the front page of a tabloid - no opportunity to cover it up, trivialise it and pretend it didn't happen.

There is a very good episode of Yes Minister on exactly this theme 😂

I'm rather glad that there isn't, I assume, footage of BloJo. The Matt Hancock footage was bad enough. This really would damn our eyes.

On the other hand, if it meant finally getting rid of BloJo and his sycophants once and for all, I'm willing to sacrifice my eyesight.

Pumasonsatsumas · 30/06/2022 14:26

Say 'are you not busy enough in your new role then?' Turn it back on her. Every time she picks up your work say 'must be quiet over on your side'

I hope this question comes up on Question Time tonight.

I don't think the BBC and certainly Question Time operate on that level of independence and journalism. The BBC even muted the boos towards the Johnsons at the Jubilee Thanksgiving Service in later broadcasts. I know this because I saw and heard the live broadcast.

XelaM · 30/06/2022 14:37

I've done it 😂(twice 🤦‍♀️) at two different places and not been caught/sacked. I know several people who have done "it" in various offices and not been sacked. Three of them have been caught! One was caught by all the senior management. He was eventually managed out of the firm, but mot immediately and he was married.

Mummyratbag · 30/06/2022 14:39

So this is this week's thing we need to "move on from"...

If he was a good PM then it would still be awful behaviour, but he isn't.

We will get another chorus "I think the British people want us to concentrate on more important things", but rather than even pretending to do anything useful he'll be staggering into the next scandal and the one after that ...

TheFairyCaravan · 30/06/2022 14:39

If I’d walked in on this incident I’d still be in counselling.

I did see this brilliant Tweet

whatistheworld · 30/06/2022 14:43

Boris Johnson needs to go! this is just part of the many ways he has failed this country and proves he is only interested in himself. This is all a game to him. Lets not forget he called earning £250,000 chicken feed.

He and the current Tory cabinet have trashed this country. covid deaths and mismanagement to PPE wastage, dodgy contracts, to the disaster that is Brexit (which is still not fully implemented as no checks on imports - this will further push up the cost of living crisis), the lies about reducing the VAT on fuel after Brexit, the NHS is on the brink of collapse.... it goes on and on unfortunately

Roselilly36 · 30/06/2022 14:44

DH got into the office early one morning, to find the MD having sex with his PA. He just ignored it, it was a frequent occurrence. Lots of daft things happened there, know one cared tbh.

Given the state of him when interviewed after the VONC, BloJo's/SnoJo's probably 'drawing a line under it' as we speak.

They really do need to bring in mandatory drug testing in that workplace.
