In reality she is probably just sitting down to a Rustlers burger & can of Tizer. What a load of bollocks.

TheDogsMother · 20/06/2022 17:33

@AngelinaFibres Came on to say the same 🤣 A 7am large glass of wine at Gatwick Airport Spoons.

Anyone know what a bio unique protocol is ?

susiebluebell · 20/06/2022 17:33

My main impression is that it's all extremely fucking expensive.

Off to choose between the two yellow-sticker meats we picked up at our weekly shop.

CheeseComa · 20/06/2022 17:33

I believe it's called orthorexia. Only fellow sufferers will find this utterly ridiculous pseudo-scientific twaddle aspirational.

ShandaLear · 20/06/2022 17:35

Blimey, she must be farting for England. I feel sorry for her loo.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 20/06/2022 17:35

I barely have time to pick the drawers out of my arse after a 15 hour shift/commute and a 2 hour dog walk, let alone pick and arrange sprouting beans.

I will endeavour to purchase pure Madagascan vanilla powder. I’m sure my life will be 100% better if that is in my cupboard.

B0ssAssB1tch · 20/06/2022 17:35

Fucking hell the privilege is dripping from every word. She must spend an absolute fortune on all that rabbit food. 70 minutes exercise before breakfast as well. Id rather have a nice cup of tea in bed thanks.

LesGiselle · 20/06/2022 17:36

I haven't read it in too much detail, but a scan looks like most of the stuff she prepares at home is roasted veg/salad stuff with seeds/nuts/fresh herbs, which is very close to how I eat.

We keep chickens and grow a lot of produce, so there's fresh stuff and eggs to use. I work from home and I really love eating well and preparing food, so faffing around making a delicious lunch thing is something I love to do.

The difference is that I hardly ever eat out, and also I have no social media, so it's all done because I love it, not to preach or 'share' it. I make home made ice cream, granola, that kinda thing. I don't claim that it's helping my cognitive abilities (I spent this morning thinking it was Wednesday Grin) but it's how I like to spend my time.

StaunchMomma · 20/06/2022 17:37

That's some next level Orthorexia shit, right there.

Annoying as hell, too.

FatCatSkinnyRat · 20/06/2022 17:15

I clicked through to her website out of curiosity. For 450 pounds you can have a two hour appointment where she will make you a "bio-unique protocol".

😱
Extortionate cuntery, then.

Still, I imagine she's only able to prey on the similarly well-heeled.

Tsandjdarethrbest · 20/06/2022 17:37

That’s obsessive. Idiots like this are part of the reason we are becoming so disconnected with what a healthy diet looks like.

Roseglen84 · 20/06/2022 17:37

It's not worse than this one from a few years ago, unfortunately the pictures are gone but you can still read the ridiculousness:

https://www.elle.com/beauty/health-fitness/a28600/amanda-chantal-bacon-moon-juice-food-diary/

Apparently bonkers eating is all the rage these days among celebs - lots of powders, smoothies and supplements. Not much chewing going on among the young and beautiful of LA I guess.

And lots of references to 'cleansing and toxins'. It all smacks of disordered eating masquerading as 'healthy'.

summermornings · 20/06/2022 17:38

Supper: I make a mushroom and tofu stroganoff for dinner using a packet of mixed mushrooms I found in Waitrose

She keeps finding these rare and precious items in these far flung places, how does she find the time?
I so very hope once she stumbled across this rare find…..she bloody paid for it at the checkout!

'Madagascan vanilla powder is a great sugar substitute'

It's not, though, is it

LOL 😂😂😂

MrsLargeEmbodied · 20/06/2022 17:39

the shame

Squooka · 20/06/2022 17:22

Articles like this always remind me of this. Much more relatable

Thank you @Squooka I have a summer cold & am now wheezing with inadvertent hilarity. That screenshot is GOLDEN.

{nicks it}

EggRollsForever · 20/06/2022 17:40

Is this classed as a "massive salad" but just all week? 😂

Rabidturnip · 20/06/2022 17:40

I am kind of speechless. Who actually believes this tripe?! What an insufferably smug woman 🙄

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 20/06/2022 17:42

I am going off to forage in Waitrose.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 20/06/2022 17:42

LOL I read that article earlier today too - had hoped to pick up some tips - noooopppe it just blew my mind! not in a great way! I try to eat healthily, but man alive, that is taking it to the level of parody! I kept thinking, she must not have kids...

Snoopsnoggysnog · 20/06/2022 17:43

NCgoingdry · 20/06/2022 17:08

I needed something HEARTY after a workout.

So I poached two eggs.

Piss off.

Absolutely this
where’s her bacon and two rounds of toast?

in fact she has no bread in her life at all! <weeps>

KettrickenSmiled · 20/06/2022 17:43

WashMeThroughly · 20/06/2022 17:27

She needs to stop dangling her hair in whatever meal it is that she's preparing. Imagine finding one of those hairs wrapped round your mung bean.

<boak>

I so hope mung bean is not a euphemism @WashMeThroughly

WhyPaulMemory · 20/06/2022 17:44

A 'clinical nutritionist'? Makes it sound very professional, but only dieticians are actually regulated, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist.

summermornings · 20/06/2022 17:45

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 20/06/2022 17:42

I am going off to forage in Waitrose.

😂

That definitely needs to be on the middle class markers thread!!

Reminded me of the insane 'day in the life of Orlando Bloom' 😂
