Fina bars transgender swimmers from women's elite events if they went through male puberty www.bbc.co.uk/sport/swimming/61853450

In other words, the knob was out and it was, er, clear that Thomas is still attracted to women. If I thought you were actually a pregnant woman, and didn't know what this means, this would be the point I would make a mental note never ever to borrow your turkey baster.

You may think that this level of intellectual dishonesty and fake ignorance looks credible from from outside. Frankly, your thought process is so garbled that it's hard to tell. And it's clear that this has long ceased to be about trans people and is now only about you trying to prove you haven't been "beaten" on the Internet.

But you have been, mate. Roundly and embarrassingly so. The more you call to override consent, to discredit victims, to respect sexual harassment, to erase women, to claim you can't fucking read, the more any idiot can see the sinister, yet palpably thick-headed, nature of this entire ideology.

But they are separate points. The genitalia could be seen when Lia changed, and they also claim - separately - that she is attracted to women.

That’s not the same as exposing an erect penis to other women in the changing room.

If Lia exposed her erect penis to harass women then the article would clearly state this, and it doesn’t.

Who is really being disingenuous here??

CaliforniaDrumming · 24/06/2022 11:45

The erect penis is a distracting tactic, the only weapon that Stolen Cookie has. Still no response to whether TW should be allowed in women only spaces. But I guess they can, as long as they have no erections.

StolenCookie · 24/06/2022 11:45

Could someone please quote me where I have “lashed out”?

I’ve been called penis, a handmaiden, a man, and those are only the things that amused me the most 😂

georgarina · 24/06/2022 11:46

The article doesn't clearly state it. They have to use subtle language but it's obvious what is meant. Because as it has been shown, women are being punished for clearly stating what's going on. After all isn't that what you've been arguing about this whole thread?! Not liking that people are saying the penis was exposed, now saying the language isn't clear enough?

You. Always. Clearly. Obsessively. Embarrassingly.

Stop pretending to be thick and stop obsessing over hard ons.

Now answer some of the questions everyone else has put to you. Your huge, hot and bothered obsession with me is getting creepy.

Because that’s the impression I was under last night. People asked me if I could understand why women are so angry about Lia Thomas. The impression I received (again - I may have been wrong!) was that Lia Thomas exposed her erect penis to women in changing rooms, thereby sexually harassing them and making them uncomfortable.

Also some people are still arguing that if Lia Thomas is attracted to women, then the penis must have been erect. One doesn’t follow the other.

babyjellyfish · 24/06/2022 11:51

Why don't you answer any questions, @StolenCookie?

Why the "but was her penis actually erect though?" diversion tactic?

Theluggage15 · 24/06/2022 11:51

But you’re not a woman though are you? You don’t know what a woman is. Are you saying you’re not a man? How do you define a man? And yeah sure you’re having a baby. 😂

StolenCookie · 24/06/2022 11:52

People keep asking me for answers. I’ve been very clear I don’t have them! I don’t know how we both protect vulnerable women and protect vulnerable trans women’s rights.

But I’m afraid my appreciation of this topic as being a complex one doesn’t convince me that trans women are not women. They are 🤷🏻‍♀️

Peregrina · 24/06/2022 11:52

A thread which got taken down yesterday had mention of a sister accidentally seeing her brother's tackle.

If most would prefer not to see a family member's tackle (apart from a DH or DP) then why on earth should completely unrelated women have to put up with getting an eyeful?

georgarina · 24/06/2022 11:53

This is the quote.

“It’s definitely awkward because Lia still has male body parts and is still attracted to women."

It could literally mean nothing else.

It’s ok to not believe me. I am very amused by the idea that people think I am a man though! Do you all really think this? 😅

But you can't define what a woman is, so how can you state that?

Your only justification for that position is how they feel. But that's no different to me, deeply and sincerely feeling that im a cat. Am I a cat?

CaliforniaDrumming · 24/06/2022 11:55

Oddly other people have come up with the relatively simple answer of third spaces for transwomen.

ReneBumsWombats · 24/06/2022 11:57

People keep asking me for answers. I’ve been very clear I don’t have them!

We know you have no answers. You've been proving it for half a day. So if you're a thinking person, then stop talking, stop obsessing over hard ons, stop championing sexual harassment, stop discrediting victims, stop erasing women, stop disrespecting other cultures and stop being scientifically illiterate.

Start reading, listening and thinking and come back when you've got something worthwhile to add.

Well we will have to agree to disagree! I think you’re conflating two things to try and make a case that Lia doesn’t belong in a women’s changing room. I disagree with you and believe Lia has every right to change her clothes in peace in a female changing room.

In what sense? If you don’t know what a woman is, how can you know that someone is one?

Your argument here is utterly incoherent. You seem to have literally no idea why you think this to be the case; you are asserting that some males are definitely women, but with no idea what a woman is. You are then studiously avoiding any question that might clarify your thought process.

Argument by assertion is literally how children argue. It’s not tenable for an adult to do it.

My contribution here, which I see as worthwhile, is insisting that trans women are women. If you don’t see that as a worthwhile contribution that is okay, but it won’t stop me reiterating it in response to the people here who are arguing otherwise!

A woman is whoever identifies as one! I don’t believe it can be objectively defined.

You are asserting it, but it’s worthless, as you admit that you don’t know what a woman is.

CaliforniaDrumming · 24/06/2022 12:02

I have no answers to the problem of some TW raping and assaulting women in prison. It is so complex I can't get my head around it.But I believe they should be allowed in because Be Kind! Puppies and rainbows! Kumbaya!

so can I identify as a cat? Really keen to know.

That is a circular definition, it does not work. What is the thing that they identify as? How do they know that it’s “woman”?

Come on, surely you are not this thick, are you?

babyjellyfish · 24/06/2022 12:03

Well it's not a worthwhile contribution because you can't explain what a woman is, so it's just word salad really.
