No not that one. Carrie when they were having an affair and he was foreign secretary. Wanted to appoint her yo £100k job she wasn't qualified for and without declaring an interest. Story was in The Tumes but has disappeared. Super injunction??

Interested to see if this thread is deleted, as that would prove something more than just Boris/Carrie leaning on the papers.

No surprise he tried to give taxpayer money to his mistress AGAIN.

Screenshot and share.
This man is despicable. Should be all over social media.

How do you know she wasn't qualified for the job op? She must have been earning £80k + for the job she already had - your link says she was the Conservative Party's director of communications at the time.

She had to quit that £80K job amid claims she'd been fiddling her expenses...

ComDummings · 19/06/2022 12:35

Seriously how much does this cunt get away with it’s unreal

SpinningRoundRightRound · 19/06/2022 12:38

Thanks, @BadAtMaths2 - I've save the image.

Pair of shits, aren't they.

Ncwinc · 19/06/2022 12:38

With two by elections coming up I’d imagine the Conservatives have threatened/promised everything they can think of to get this pulled.

bellabasset · 19/06/2022 12:39

@BadAtMaths2 There's a post on social media of 4 PO vans with the caption Father's Day cards on their way to No 10, which made me laugh. Do we know the tally? 4 with Wife No2, 2 with wife No 3, 1 with unknown woman who has maintenance? How did he get married in an RC ceremony

It doesn’t really matter if she was engaged in an undeclared relationship with the foreign secretary.

This implies it's fine to move your current lover in to any tax payer funded job. Do Government jobs not need to be advertised and recruited following guidelines ?

The story already shows that they were caught in a compromising position in his office - hardly a good advert for behaving appropriately in the workplace.

I suppose we shouldn't expect better. It clearly worked for Hancock and Coladangelo and also Johnson & Acuri.

It’s a bit of an own goal, they’ve drawn much more negative attention to it than if they’d let it just run.

The initial reaction to it was very ‘meh. Of course he did’ 🤷‍♀️ - which in itself is concerning.

roarfeckingroarr · 19/06/2022 12:42

I don't like the man but there's no viable alternative to vote for, so I'll vote for him again next time

RippleQueen · 19/06/2022 12:43

Look on thelondoneconomic.com website. The story is still there

Bullshit. You’re literally saying that there’s not one single person in the country capable of leading - Boris is the best we’ve got.

You may as well boot the queen out of Windsor and install him as sovereign king. If that’s what you really think you need to have a good look into the phrase ‘cult of personality’ and maybe the definition of kleptocracy.

I doubt he'll be standing at the next election.

The story says there was doubts she was qualified and that 3 officials threatened to resign over it. Notwithstanding the clear undeclared conflict.

It's all over Twitter so I can't see what point would be served by taking this thread down.

I've never understood why anybody would vote for him. His entire life story shows he is lazy, dishonest and unreliable. His ex-employers have said so, on the record. He did a poor job as London Mayor and Foreign Secretary. His marital history and endless affairs would keep the Relationships board here busy for years. Why would you give a person with a character like his the top job in the country? Why is anybody surprised things have gone the way they have?

Clymene · 19/06/2022 12:48

He's revolting

If there was a super injunction I think they'd have to?

SqueakyShoe · 19/06/2022 12:50

The prime minister serves us. How can it be allowed that he can take out a super injunction to cover his dodgy dealings.

And if it is possible, why didn't he get one for Arcuri, or the myriad other dodgy things he's done?

Cornettoninja · 19/06/2022 12:53

A super injunction wouldn’t particularly be concerning - at least it has to follow a process and have legal support (whether or not that’s influenced by other factors is debatable).

No super injunction and having that kind of influence on the media is much, much, much scarier.

CherryReid · 19/06/2022 12:54

Ncwinc · 19/06/2022 12:38

With two by elections coming up I’d imagine the Conservatives have threatened/promised everything they can think of to get this pulled.

But sadly Labour and Libs are a bunch of tosspots - there's no one to vote for

We should call for a march on downing st to demand a complete overhaul of MPs - there must be a couple who are trustable.

picklemewalnuts · 19/06/2022 12:56

I remember at the time he got in, hoping that he was cleverer than he looked. I hoped the buffoon business was just an act, and he was actually a really clever operator. Sadly I think I was wrong.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/06/2022 12:56

I am not a lawyer but if there was a superinjunction how did it get into print at all? The New European has it and I'd be very surprised if media based outside the UK didn't run with it.

Booklover3 · 19/06/2022 12:56

It’s a disgrace that honourable MPs are now so hard to come by.
