To apply athletes foot cream to labia?

Sorry for terrible overshare but what else is the internet for.

I am absolutely driven mad by thrush. I have no yoghurt in the house bar Frubes (although I suppose easy internal application? But I would worry about the sugar). I have no money until payday, 8 squirmy scratchy fanny abrading days away.

What I do have is two kinds of athletes foot cream? Surely one fungicide is much like another?

Absolutely do not insert a garlic clove in your hoo-haa (I may be speaking from experience having followed MN advice on this matter previously Blush)

😂

Stops your foof from being attacked by vampires, too, I expect.

I have to ask, did the garlic aroma linger for long?

OMG. Seriously, if you wouldn't put it in your eye, don't put it in your vagina. That includes tea tree oil.

Can you not go to the chemist and get it for free under the minor aliments scheme? I do it whenever I have thrush or a coldsore etc saves you having to buy it and spending £23 when you can get it for free and only takes a minute or two to fill in the form with the pharmacist.

How have I never heard of this?

I've spent a fucking fortune on hay fever stuff in the last 10 days, and now discover I could have got it all for free without the hassle of trying to arrange a GP appt so I could get it free on prescription.

Even more embarrassingly, I work in welfare rights and coach clients in financial management , we get bulletins about all sorts of relevant stuff and I've still never heard of it. I suspect that none of my colleagues have heard of it either, or it would have come to my notice before now.

Thanks, @TOADfan

There's a reason why GPs no longer prescribe hayfever medication (unless it's severe).
Can the NHS really afford to treat half the country's hayfever?
But, yes, use the minor ailments service. Why not

I’m a very generous wife and often share my thrush with DH. He used canearen athletes foot cream last time we didn’t have any of the usual stuff in. I can confirm that his penis did not fall off.

The skin on a penis is not the same as the mucous membrane in your vagina!

Yet it still responds to medication in the same way. As to the feet. If the ingredients are the same then they are the same - no difference where you use it, it's the same!

masterchuff and the metal image of three frubes in a fanny will stay with me forever. Unfortunately.

Op. Jokes aside. No tea tree oil should ever hon in, on or near your foof. Can one of us please send you some £ to buy some proper meds.

(Please tell me about the whiskey bottle)

My gynaecologist told me to use diluted tea tree oil (3 drops in 250ml water) to wash the area after I had repeated thrush infections. I've done it for years and hardly ever get thrush now...

I buy mine in bulk online because I take it weekly for a case of recurrent thrush but even I pay more than that- plus shipping!

This is a rather obvious question and I have tried asking it in several ways and deleted it, but why aren't you just googling to find a cheaper place to buy it that includes free postage?
