To apply athletes foot cream to labia?

420Bruh · 17/06/2022 21:26

Sorry for terrible overshare but what else is the internet for.

I am absolutely driven mad by thrush. I have no yoghurt in the house bar Frubes (although I suppose easy internal application? But I would worry about the sugar). I have no money until payday, 8 squirmy scratchy fanny abrading days away.

What I do have is two kinds of athletes foot cream? Surely one fungicide is much like another?

I've always bought the Canesten foot cream (it's cheaper than the thrush cream). Same active ingredient innit.

Fedupmum21 · 17/06/2022 22:21

They are both the same just different strengths, clotrimazole is the active medication. I would say it’s 1000 times better than a frube 🙈

Pay on PayPal for cream ? Comes out of your bank days later

I don't know if I could in all good conscience then put them in a packed lunch to be honest. Protective clingfilm or not.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m not sure I’ll recover from this post 🤣

Garlic?

Absolutely do not insert a garlic clove in your hoo-haa (I may be speaking from experience having followed MN advice on this matter previously Blush)

Have you got any tea tree oil? A tampon with some tea tree oil drops on, and then inserted can bring instant relief, it's the only thing that worked for me

Neat tea tree oil up your foof? You're brave!

Memaww · 17/06/2022 21:33

I always use canesten 1% with a foot on instead of 2% because it's cheaper 😲

It's always worked fine

What the fluff is going on?

Maybe everyone is getting recurring thrush because of all the yogurt and foot cream they are lathering on their bits!

Aren’t you supposed to see a doctor if you have it more than twice in six months?

newnamethanks · 17/06/2022 22:27

I've done that before. Same percentage of active ingredient Clotrimazole 1% and half the price. It may be a bit sting-y at first but otherwise is fine

Maybe if you have athlete's fanny.

🤣🤣🤣

LesGiselle · 17/06/2022 22:32

OP, it's obviously bad. I'd probably try a few things at once tbh. Try a thin film of the athletes foot cream, then a clove of garlic, a quenelle of organic coconut oil, a hefty shake of bicarb of soda and three Frubes.

Let us know. Don't order a takeaway.

Rosesandblossoms · 17/06/2022 22:33

OP do you have an urgent care centre near you? I’m pretty sure In your situation they’d give you some without a prescription. Can you go tomorrow?

WilsonMilson · 17/06/2022 22:34

Boots sells a cheap generic thrush cream for a couple of quid I recall, fiver max. I think the athlete’s foot cream might be too strong for your fanjo. Coconut oil with a drop of tea tree oil (just one drop, more will burn) is also helpful.

Elvira2000 · 17/06/2022 22:35

Clove of garlic. Works honestly!

Johnnyripples · 17/06/2022 22:35

Go for it, I've had to do this before and it was fine.

aLilNonnyMouse · 17/06/2022 22:38

I've done it before, it works fine, it's the exact same cream, just the foot one is weaker so might need more applications before it's fully gone.

ZooKeeper19 · 17/06/2022 22:39

@420Bruh have you got iodine at home (Betadine or similar)? Diluting in water and using to wash a few times - works.

TokyoSushi · 17/06/2022 22:39

It's fine!

JanglyBeads · 17/06/2022 22:40

Do you pay for your prescriptions?

Hohofortherobbers · 17/06/2022 22:40

It's fine, do it, I've done it. Was recommended by GP who asked what I had at home.

Mynameisnotsweetheartordarling · 17/06/2022 22:41

Where are you? I know Scotland
has the minor ailment service?

BearIntheBigblue · 17/06/2022 22:44

you can ask a gp to prescribe it if you don’t pay for prescriptions I’ve had to do this numerous times they didn’t want to but I insisted

You're gonna ace the invention test on Masterchuff!

pixie5121 · 17/06/2022 22:45

Yes, it should be fine to use it. You could also try cheap supermarket yoghurt but make sure it's plain yoghurt....definitely don't use Frubes!

allboysherebutme · 17/06/2022 22:45

No definitely not. Lend money. X
