Petrol has gone up from 179.9 this morning where I am to 184.9 this afternoon! AIBU to think this is getting really worrying?

One local garage is definitely taking the piss, it is charging 8 p a litre more than the garages on a main A road that are up there with the motorway garage charges usually. The manager says hes told to charge that as its the first garage on the way into town. Total profiteering. people should blacklist it

Is this the windfall tax at work? You can tax them all you want but they’re still going to have their profit margin thanks.

Let's not aim high on this one someone will have to do something a lot of essential services will stop without fuel

There seems to be very little choice. Public transport provision is minimal, and even if it supported the hours and locations we need, which it doesn't, it would cost £75 a week - and that's in bulk saver tickets.
