I received a sexy pose dick pic, clearly by accident from a friend's husband. I have deleted it.

I am no prude, I can't imagine it was on purpose.

I can't unsee the pic, though. How do I style this out?

I do marvel at people who somehow try and turn this back in me for sending a mundane message to him while on holiday. I met someone who knew him and passed on a "hello". Nothing more, nothing less.

I definitely wouldn't keep quiet - that's how these predatory men get away with it. He'll either assume you liked it or you're intimidated. Whether or not it was intended for you is not your problem. The fact is you do not wish to be sent such things and you should send him a forthright text saying as much.

I think it is likely that it is meant for the friend with the same name. How awful for his wife. I would just message back with '?'

I've been married twice and neither husband ever sent me a dick pic. Now maybe I'm very boring, but I just don't see why anyone would be doing this while they are on holiday together? Couldn't he just... show her his dick?

Therefore I would be inclined to think it was for someone else. I would also be inclined to reply to him something like 'I assume that was meant for your wife so I'll forward it on'

The longer you remain silent the worse it is, both in terms of him (thinking you might like it, or getting off imagining your embarrassment) and the possible fallout with the wife. You need to be seen to act quickly, strongly and decisively.
