I received a sexy pose dick pic, clearly by accident from a friend's husband. I have deleted it.

I am no prude, I can't imagine it was on purpose.

I can't unsee the pic, though. How do I style this out?

How could it have been an accident though. On my phone the names of those I recently messaged come up first, surely his wife was in his top few. Way before it would get to you, unless you recently messaged?

I wouldn't be so sure it was accidental especially since no apology. Surely he would have realised the error by now if there was one.

People use their phones n different ways and have different phones, messages get sent to the wrong person all the time

Oh god no! I really hope it was meant for his wife.

I can beat this though, my stepmum accidentally sent me a text meant for my dad back when you had an inbox (we were texting about something entirely unrelated at the time!) 🙃 my dad rang me within SECONDS when she realised what she’d done but...too late! We laugh about it now but he must’ve been dying inside at the time hahahahah

I saw it 1.5h after her sent it. He could have deleted it before I saw it. It will have two blue ticks next to it for him.

I messaged him yesterday about something really mundane, so I could have been the top contact, bearing in mind couples don't usually message each other while on hols?

So even you don’t believe the pic was for him then? Why did you message him yesterday while he was on holiday?

I wouldn't say I am close friends with either of them. They are nice people, we have some things in common and that's how we met years ago.

If it wasn't for the wife, then all hell will break loose.

I actually feel sick now. I thought they were a strong couple. They have been through all sorts and been together over 20 years.

I know so many scumbag men. I really thought he was a rare decent one.

I can't bring myself to message him or the wife right now.

If this is true just tell his wife you've received a dick pic from her husband. Don't send it to her, just tell her. Let her work out best way to handle it.

It might well be meant for someone else (hopefully his wife!) but I’d definitely reply, a succinct “WTF??”should do it. There’s a chance he’s sending it to gauge your reaction, and may interpret you not replying as meaning you might be interested!! I reckon if you reply making it clear you’re not impressed, he will claim it’s an accident…but he’ll be in no doubt you’re not interested.

You are making some assumptions here.

Just reply and say, ‘meant for someone else?’ So that he is aware what he’s done, and leave it there.

Ps if it were me, I would un delete the deleted photo. If they are close friends there is no going back from this, you'll forever be uncomfortable around them so you might as well have evidence because he will deny it

OP has clarified that she met them as a couple due to shared interests some years ago.

I send my best friend’s DP a TikTok video I knew he’d like the other day, if he’d then sent me a dick pic the next day that would’ve been entirely on him, not me. Let’s not blame OP here, yeah?

I too would feel sick if I knew my friends husband was having an affair and I was the only one who knew. Wouldn't you? It's an awful position to be in.
