@Greyhop - she did NOT win the Uk trial, largely because she wasn’t a party to it, she was a witness. Very hard for a witness to win a trial.

What I found disturbing was AH smirking when JD was on the stand talking about being attacked by AH. Also when talking about his finger. It was a little creepy and it's like she was enjoying the fact of what she did.

I thought AH constantly addressing the jury instead of the lawyers was really rude and disrespectful, she talked over them, didnt answer a straight question when asked yes or no.

Yeah her talking to the Jury was strange for me to see. We don't do it in the UK.

But then some of the experts were doing it too at times, so I just thought maybe they do directly address the Jury occasionally.

AH did seem to answer every question towards the jury though even simple things like "that is correct"

I wouldn't have liked to be sat on the Jury with people looking at me and talking at me all the time. I'd have to fight the urge to talk back 😳

Anthony Hopkins composes music and plays the piano, he posted playing music with his cat during lockdown.

He's a visual artist too. An incredibly talented and, I think, likeable man. I've rarely heard such a beautiful speaking voice. Timothy Dalton and Richard Burton have this too: is it something about the Welsh?

It's the poetic lilts in our accents, when it's not overly forced for comedy value.

We have a gentle sing songy accent, and even when it changes due to living elsewhere we still keep that lilting cadence.

Does anyone else feel that the vitriol towards AH is vile? I'm not keen on the woman but people all over the world are making fun of her on the internet (don't mean on here). I feel a bit sorry for her if I'm honest, she's still a person and people are being horrible.

I think the vitriol towards heard is sad and indicative.

The trial itself has been hugely odd , weird, entertainment.

I find the experts heards team have picked seen far below in quality than those on depps side

I'm finding experts talking about either of their mental disorders absurd and incredibly intrusive and unprofessional!!

@ENoeuf I agree with you. My DH will show me memes of her or people re-enacting things on Tik tok and I just can't watch them. My thought process is along the lines of - if it's all lies then she needs serious help, not to be mocked and if it's true, well no one should ever be mocked for going through that.

It is dreadful, she will have to be incredibly strong to overcome this, but I do think Amber is a very strong person.

All of it is just a toxic mess but it is what it is now, Johnny wanted his side told before Amber went nuclear furthering the story of his abuse.

If he had stayed quite who knows what further information she could have put out there, books, going on shows etc.

I don't think he felt he had any choice.

Completely agree. I found Dr Speigal and Dr Hughes quite unprofessional in their demeanour.

I've never seen a trial like it, completely unbelievable if you watched it as a film, hard to believe it's real.

The comedic element has had everyone smirking, I don't think I've ever seen a courtroom snigger so much considering the seriousness of the offences.

I'm afraid I've not changed my view but I would hate to be on that jury, I think I would feel quite paranoid about the backlash, if it goes either way.

I do think that judge knows what's what though.

@RosieRooster83 I feel exactly the same. I think she was abusive and has lied about JD, and I really don't think he had any choice but to bring it all out into the open. However, I really hate seeing so many people relishing in her downfall, mocking her and bullying her. She's getting more hate directed at her than Putin ffs!

As I said previously, if she does have a personality disorder and has experienced childhood trauma, then people need to recognise that her behaviours are a symptom of a medically recognised disorder and her traumatic past experiences, and not something she has chosen to have. She needs help to overcome her issues, not to be psychologically re-abused by a baying mob.

@Onthedunes Absolutely and I don't blame JD, he has the right to defend himself in a court. I'm more on the side of JD simply because I do see a lot of abusive traits in AH and the way she was with JD was exactly how my ex husband was with me. I also notice how she uses more lies to wiggle out of previous lies. Saying that though, people definitely need to leave her alone and if that is true what someone said about putting her baby in a microwave then I have no words, horrible.
