Anthony Hopkins composes music and plays the piano, he posted playing music with his cat during lockdown

That's brilliant. 😁 I didn't know that.

ObjectionHearsay · 30/05/2022 17:18

Honestly I think JD is now content and ready to move on with his life. He knew winning was a long shot practically impossible, but he just wanted to tell his side of the story, that it was not as black and white as was being portrayed.

So what if he now wants to go gig in small venues, and enjoy his music. He has his fan base, he will now move on with that.ayne some small passion projects for acting.

I doubt you'll see an appeal from his side, because he knew going in, it was a long shot to win, he went in with the expectation of a loss on legalities.

AH I'm not sure, she has stated she also just wants to move on, so I would hope she wouldn't appeal any loss on her counterclaim.

They've both sorta had their final swan dance. And what will be will be now.

Wow , not a funny joke??
How absolutely bizarre.

Definitely bizarre behaviour.

Heard’s every gesture has been analyzed and scrutinized. Depp’s odd behavior? Not so much. The actor smiled, grinned and snacked on candy throughout the trial. Depp is either an abuser, or a victim of abuse. But his body language throughout this excruciating ordeal has remained casual, even cheerful. It would be hard to imagine Heard getting away with similar (even seeming) nonchalance.

Hes both.

But Amber has been smirking throughout!

TiddyTidTwo · 30/05/2022 18:34

Wow. ACLU have put in a petition to sue Depp for their costs at the court.

I thought the judge ordered them to?

ICanSmellSummerComing · 30/05/2022 18:50

Amber most definitely has not been smirking through out!

I've literally watched nearly every hour of every day apart from the very first days.

She mostly looks pained and upset/ strained.
She has not been smirking throughout.

TiddyTidTwo · 30/05/2022 19:08

Both of them smirked, doodled, wrote notes, looked sad, aghast, relaxed etc etc. it was 6 weeks x 8 hours of cameras.

AH ate listerine strips and JD gummy bears.

Were you there in the Courtroom

Were you there in the Courtroom

It was televised for the world to watch.

Sozzler · 30/05/2022 19:21

@ICanSmellSummerComing She absolutely has sat there smirking at times. I've seen it with my own eyes, mostly toward the end of the trial.

ICanSmellSummerComing · 30/05/2022 19:25

It was claimed she has smirked all the way through.

Johnny has constantly laughed ,smirked etc not Amber.

She's human, she may have had moments of this but if you want to beat her with the smirking stick you must thoroughly beat Johnny first!!

TiddyTidTwo · 30/05/2022 19:35

Blank

Cameras were there I watched the whole trial. Something wrong with my observation that all those hours and hours camera time will pick up facial expressions?

Christ, my post wasn't directed at AH or JD.

Sozzler · 30/05/2022 19:35

@ICanSmellSummerComing I'm not beating her with the 'smirking stick', I was simply stating a fact.

I'm not going to criticise either of them for their responses in that court. It must be a really intense, nerve racking, emotional experience. And if you are listening to stories about yourself that you believe to be fake, then perhaps your natural response in that situation would be to laugh or smirk, especially if you are unable to verbally challenge them on what they are saying at that time.

I have no idea how I would react in a situation like that, but I do know that when I feel nervous or under attack, my first response is to laugh, strange as it may sound.

TiddyTidTwo · 30/05/2022 19:36

"It was claimed she has smirked all the way through"

She didn't. Mostly the last few days was my observation.

ICanSmellSummerComing · 30/05/2022 19:36

I've literally watched it all the way through! I'm on day 22 at the moment! She has not...been smirking all the way through. It's not a fact.

Sozzler · 30/05/2022 19:46

@ICanSmellSummerComing It is a fact that she has smirked at times, which is what I stated in my response to you. I have seen it with my own eyes.

Depending on where you watch it, you will get different views of the court room, some will show AH up close at times, others will focus more on the witnesses, and others will focus more on JD, so I imagine there is the possibility that you simply haven't viewed those pieces of footage.

NohoHank · 30/05/2022 19:51

A quick google search will show you all the clips of AH smirking, and/or laughing with her lawyers, while in the courtroom during this particular trial. It doesn't matter what side you're on on this case, you can see for yourself the times she has smirked. Same goes for JD. It's all recorded and televised so hardly something you can argue about.

StormzyinaTCup · 30/05/2022 19:52

JD has smirked and laughed at points
AH has smirked and laughed at points
The whole court has smirked and laughed at points.
I have smirked and laughed at points.

Maybe not all smirking and laughing at the same things but it’s definitely happened.

TiddyTidTwo · 30/05/2022 19:55

Its when and what was being smirked at is more important. Sozzler I didn't realise there were different cameras according to who was filming. I watched all of it on Law & Crime.

ObjectionHearsay · 30/05/2022 20:02

I burst out laughing when the TMZ guy popped back at Elaine. I was glad I was not on the court room, I'd have been asked to leave 🤣

Sozzler · 30/05/2022 20:02

@TiddyTidTwo yes, I didn't at first as I watched mostly on Sky which tended to show more of the witnesses and the whole courtroom. I then watched some live streaming on what I think was Law and Crime ( I could be mistaken) and they often had a split screen where you would see the witnesses alongside close ups of JD or AH and their legal teams.

StormzyinaTCup · 30/05/2022 20:06

Dr Spiegel generally but particular his Marlon Brando 'isn't he dead?' comment 🤣

I don't know what you've been watching.
