So what happens now/tonight?

Boulshired · 27/05/2022 20:12

I am slightly confused, so Amber just has to prove any type of abuse just once and she wins even if the articles online headline is sexual assault. Is there many relationship that someone couldn’t claim one incident of low level abuse, argument with raised voice, slammed door, name calling, silence treatment you prove that one and you can add whatever you like and accuse them of rape.

Rinoachicken · 27/05/2022 20:15

@Boulshired I think that’s just what her lawyer said - I don’t know that that is what the jury have been directed legally by the judge

Whydidimarryhim · 27/05/2022 20:16

Just what a horrible woman AH is - unbelievable - smirking - JD hasn’t behaved like this - one tape highlighted a incident where he hurt her foot - accidentally- he was so apologetic - she is just so devious - her poor child - she appears and thinks she is untouchable. I hope she is found guilty. The relationship was toxic.

I think that the sexual violence she refers to as having been since college?

This is a major issue for me.
The jury needs to decide what is Domestic violence.

AH team want them to decide that verbal and emotional is included in domestic violence.

Whereas JD team have said AH specifically said domestic violence, such as hitting, beating, kicking etc is what should be determined as domestic violence.

I was hoping they would make it clearer, but in this case they want the jury to decide

Jonny spent most of the first weeks smirking his way through the testimony. After the weeks break he switched and that hasn't been so present. Watch some early stuff?

Stupid phone. Sorry @Shehasntagedatall that smiley face wasn't meant for you. It was meant for @ENoeuf.

What happens tonight? Not much. We wait for the Jury. Who knows how long they will take, it could be days

Boulshired · 27/05/2022 20:21

She’s accused him of sexual assault in this trial, in front of the world, it just seems so wrong

adriftabroad · 27/05/2022 20:23

Does anyone know how we will know, when they have reached a verdict?

ENoeuf · 27/05/2022 20:24

ENoeuf · 27/05/2022 20:26

So the burden of proof is 'more likely than not'

Just think of us who had to listen to all of it.

TiddyTidTwo · 27/05/2022 20:28

EN
Johnny has a very dry sense of humour. Very dry.
His smirking is absolutely not the same as AH. The only thing dry about her are her tears

Social media will tell you. One hundred people got wristbands to be verdict watchers. They are allowed to stay at the courthouse until the verdict comes in.

From what I understand, the jury will tell the judge they have a verdict.

The judge/court will inform the media a verdict has been reached.

The judge has now said they will give everyone roughly 1.30hrs to get to court.

For example, if the judge has the verdict at 1pm, then everyone needs to be back at court for 2.30pm (7.30pm our time).
I'm not saying this will happen at this tome, it's just an example.
