He’s trying to dance around the objection but essentially what he is saying is that all these photos were needed with. They really don’t want him talking about chromatic scales- because that would let him say that she has changed tones in the photos to create the look of bruises. Their objections speak volumes.

Yes but what changes were made? Just implying they were photoshopped is meaningless - it leaves it wide open to interpretation.

I don't agree. You don't edit a picture unless you want to make it look better. JD legal team challenged AH on the stand over an edited photo, showing the difference. She lied. He's now confirmed the pictures are indeed edited. The jury have seen the two images side by side showing contrast changes. They can now hear that yes, it has been edited, as JD legal team claimed

AH’s lie counter:

• The dogs to Australia was her assistant’s fault.
• I pledged the money.
• I didn’t give TMZ the videos.
• I didn’t take drugs.
• I never hit him.
• I didn’t tamper with the photos.

Without the original to compare I’m not sure anyone could say for sure what is different.

But it plants the seed there that the image has been changed in some way - whether that’s contrast, lighting, who knows - the jury will have to come to their own conclusion about how and more importantly why.

So what JD's team are implying is these are not original, genuine pictures.

They have all been run through a photo editing software.

The expert witness is simply backing this up. The pictures have been run through editing software, therefore doubt in authentication.

So, for example, are these photos taken at a later date, and the time stamps back dated, are the resolutions altered, I'm sure data grandad has more to say.

But I can feel AH's legal teams arses twitching from here in Wales.

If JD's team can get the jury to doubt the pictures, the only physical evidence they have, what do they have left....stories and sisters.

I think this is the answer that makes most sense to me. He can't say what's been changed (he can't revert to original?) but he can say it's been changed leaving it open against the other things like the side by side photos.

You're right, he is implying it was edited (or photoshopped), which they haven't proved yet.

I think his point is, when the photo was sent, it was uploaded onto an editing software first, then sent to the JD team.

The question for the jury is; why would you do that?
Surely if someone asked you to send them a photo, you would attach the photo, directly from your phone, onto an email. Why would you upload it to an editing software, then send it?

But you are right, they are going to have to prove some editing was done.

It's as clear as day isn't it? I guess those that still support AH are those that are still troubled by male abuse and all women are right, no matter what. Well, I've seen both sides. I get their continued protection of AH despite the evidence, or those who have told them as survivors ourselves that we can't possibly be right.

If they can't see what's right in front of their eyes I don't know. Are they survivors h themselves? I'd like to know

I just don't get AHs supporters not even giving an inch to say she might have lied. Of course she has, witnesses have disputed her claims. Her own witnesses can't testify to say JD did what she claimed.

I'm a survivor of two DV relationships and a separate rape, I see Through AH. She is not a victim. He is. I'm not saying I think he's perfect, but he is not the abusive one out of the two.

I totally agree. My MIL is very similar to AH. She is entirely self centred and constantly on the make somehow. Once she tells herself a story about something that happened then it is the truth and she believes it so wholly that she can tell it without blinking and be very convincing. She’s a manipulator and physically violent- but only with romantic partners. She never touched her kids, just the blokes. FIL had black eyes and bruises that he hid out of shame. But when they divorced she threatened to claim that he beat her.

Then she spread the story that he’d slept with all the women in the village so he’s be too ashamed to show his face. Lots of people believed her for ages. But her lies have eventually come undone. We obviously don’t see her anymore. It’s not worth it.

And let’s me honest, they aren’t the sort of pictures where the focus is on anything other than the injury. It means something you are being shown (and by shown, I mean the injury or focus of the picture) has been altered and you are not seeing the original. So if you aren’t seeing the original, how can you trust what you are seeing is genuine? If the images aren’t genuine, then was there really an injury?

I think most of us on this thread are open to this? I'm not a supporter of her particularly and only realised she was in Acquaman through the trials, I'm not a Depp fan either.
What I find hard is to accept that someone would outright lie about all of this. I find it hard to believe JD is not abusive or frightening to live with at times. I've said the Op Ed was a bad idea.
I just haven't taken up the AH is a witch position that's currently on social media.
I'm wary of paid employees being trusted as truth tellers. I'm not convinced by the recent witnesses just wanting to 'do the right thing'.

Thank you, thing is she's done so much damage to victims like myself with her behaviour. And yet people still believe her. I cannot for the life of me, understand how. I'm at the same reaction as you completely.

I'll talk about my abuser. Now I want you all to know mine was removed from my house by a live fire arm squad, to give you the idea of the seriousness of the abuse I suffered.

The statements I wrote about that man to friends in the wake of it all were atrocious. I also went one step further.

My abuser had form for emotionally guilting me the whole "I'm going to kill myself if you leave" fiasco.

Well after I was rescued, he decided to do this. He sent me a string of messages saying he was going to walk in to the sea and drown (he couldn't swim) he also sent these messages to mutual friends. Mutual friends contacted the police.

The police had helicopters, the RLNI, police out on the shore line looking for him. One PC who I don't think had been briefed on the history phoned me to enquire about his welfare, did I know if he was serious about walking in to the sea, did I know what part of the coastline he would go to.

I replied "let him walk in to the sea, let him die, let him drown, it would save me the pain of the upcoming criminal court case, the statements, ever seeing him again"

So yeah in anger I literally willed someone on to kill themselves and deliberately did not give information to increase the chances of them finding him. I knew where he would go.

Anyway they found the fucker, and I had to go to court unfortunately. He did however get a custodial, a GBH charge a kidnapping charge and a attempted rape charge.

People say bad things when they are hurt and angry.
