To think male violence will never end?

YouAreNotBatman · 04/05/2022 15:26

I was reading the news about 14 year old boy raping and killing a 10 year old girl and I just became so tired.
So tired of endless violence boys and men do to girls and women.
And how they don’t care, they seem to think it’s funny or get angry at any woman who try and speak about it.

Then let’s work together!

Now, what are men doing to help violence againts women / what are they doing to help end male violence?

What would you like them to do?

I don't believe anyone is responsible for anyone else's behaviour.

It's their testosterone, they can't help it. Poor things.

Have you read the ‘men just don’t know their own strength’ posts? Incredible.

total misrepresentation of Truth's thread.

Nobody has said they can't help it. Nobody.

I don't think misogyny is the answer because lesbian relationships have the most violence of all.

Really? Is that true?

No, it’s an old and badly made study.
And it was about DV, and most perpetrators were, suprise, suprise, MEN.

So men are killing accidentally?

this is the fifth time you;ve asked this, despite this being nothing like what we said.

stopwaitingforpermissiontobeyou · 04/05/2022 22:19

@TruthHertz fair play to you for holding your own against these numerous attempts to discredit your posts. I for one think you are one of the most balanced posters on this thread in a long time and I think if people bothered, they leave lots to think about,

That’s true, people are being surprisingly coy about saying ‘accidental’ aren’t they? But what else is to be taken from posts about mismatched strength and ‘not premeditated’?

ldontWanna · 04/05/2022 22:20

@stopwaitingforpermissiontobeyou but no one actually said men are bad.

What we are talking about is that male violence is a thing. And it is a problem. And it's a male problem.

The first step to fix a problem is to acknowledge it exists. That can't be done if it instantly get derailed by NAMALT and women do it to. If we want men to acknowledge the problem and change(the ones willing and able to at least) we need to have that conversation. We need them to listen . That can't be done when other women 1.shut down discussion and 2.jump to their defence and say there's nothing to do here.

And that mindset is the most damaging for the future generations. Because we can look at power structures, societal trends ,the judicial system , causes , how and where we can have the most impact. We can be mindful of potential issues and how to counteract them. We can be on the lookout for triggers and toxic environments/experiences.We need to be able to have an open discussion in order to unpick all these , without others taking it personally because their son/dad/partner is not like that.

TruthHertz · 04/05/2022 22:20

Pumperthepumper · 04/05/2022 22:14

If they’re equally violent, why don’t women shoot them or poison them?

Because you don't usually poison somebody in a blind rage. It's a calculated move.

stopwaitingforpermissiontobeyou · 04/05/2022 22:18

Why do you think there wouldn’t be such a discrepancy if men and women were equally matched physically?

We aren't being coy. We just arent rising to your goading.

Neither not premediated or a mismatch of strength mean an accident.

Nobody said that, however much you try to make out we did.

You could stab someone in a blind rage. Why don’t they do that?

So what do they mean in the context of men killing more?

Pumperthepumper · 04/05/2022 22:20

Because I don't believe things like abuse, murder or assault are caused by what you have in your pants. As we have repeatedly pointed out to you, the stats are slewed by a mismatch in physicality. (as you all keep pointing out to me when you tell me women 'can't rape).

YouAreNotBatman · 04/05/2022 22:22

stopwaitingforpermissiontobeyou · 04/05/2022 22:16

I don't believe anyone is responsible for anyone else's behaviour.

So your posting is utterly useless.
You just don’t want women (the few who actually cares) to talk about male violence.

Would be better for you (and abusers) if we’d all just pretend nothing is happening…..

yes, it would be brilliantly wonderful for me as a woman with female friends and relatives if men murdered as much as they like.

Having my point made on MN is far more important to me than women's lives.

and im the useless poster.

Pumper, is it a chosen posting style of yours to just ask the same question 10 times, ignore all answers?

Then why don't men and women murder children at the same(or similar) rates?

Pumperthepumper · 04/05/2022 22:25

@stopwaitingforpermissiontobeyou you’re not answering though. Why do men kill so much more? Is it a coincidence?

Sounds like denial…
Nothing more.

Well I'm still waiting for a succinct answer. The majority of abuse, murder or assault are cause by those with that thing in their pants.

All I've read are excuses plain and simple.
