You do know who owns much of our media right? We may not be in the era of the press barons but huge swathes of print media have very right leaning Conservative donors. And the publicly owned media is constantly under attack from ministers. I'd agree there is censorship but not in the way you mean.

The point of an interview is to hear the other person speak to ask probing and difficult questions and hear the answers

That’s exactly what she was trying to do but when she didn’t get answers she pulled him up on it. Waffling and deflecting has become the classic route of those who refuse to answer probing questions.

Susanah Reid is a gob on a stick-only interested in making herself look clever -who she was interviewing this time is irrelevant she always talks over the interviewe & we only ever get to here her smart arse remarks. I agree with other posts- she is trying to emulate Piers Morgan & fails miserably & I think whatever anyone says about him he had passion & came across as believing in what he was saying whereas with Susanah its so obviously for effect!

No idea why Piers = good Susannah = gob on a stick either. Piers didn't invent that kind of interview style and Susannah's job is to get answers and not be led by the interviewee like on BBC Breakfast which might as well be a Tory party political broadcast

If BJ wants to broadcast propaganda to the country, he can release a party political broadcast. This was an interview and his interviewer is not only entitled but obliged to speak and ask questions.
