To choose an Irish name for their dog... in light of Britain's history with Ireland.

YABU- get over it, it's a dog
YANBU- it is tone deaf

It's a dog. I know a woman who called her dog Sh**head.

Imho another person's dog's name and will be called far worse in private when it messes on the carpet and/or chews something someone valued. Personally I love the name. Did you know it means 'golden princess'?

On the other hand, naming a pooch after a designer is a bit naff.

Dear lord aren’t you a little rascist!
I’m Irish, living in England and find YOU and your comment, not them, unbelievably offensive.
Grow up, get a grip and move on (like the vast majority of the population has done).
