tomatoandherbs · 27/04/2022 16:36

oodie offer on. But one get one free. So £84 for two.

good deal but…. The replicas are substantially cheaper than the oodie offer price.

any thoughts re those that have experienced both?!

many thanks

I got my son a snuggz and I love it and keep stealing it. It’s lovely and velvety outside and snuggly inside. Also like that’s it’s British.

A pic of the one I've just bought. I'm excited!

This is the one I have and its absolutely fabulous 👌. Maybe an Oodie is thicker (it's not in my budget) but I have worked from home in it all winter sans heating and its been brilliant.

grannybiker · 27/04/2022 21:41

I have both and actually prefer my cheapie copy and Primark versions. Why?
They feel so much softer and squash down really small for popping in a bag. Also, being un-lined they dry much quicker after washing,

Ahhh. That’s why I can’t find it then 🤣

Quality of the original to knock offs is night and day for many. If you'll use it regularly it's worth buying quality. We have been gifted cheapies which is how we knew we'd use them and then bought the branded ones they were so much better and worth it.

BotterMon · 27/04/2022 21:52

Thanks for heads up OP! Just ordered 2 for daughter and I as we're camping next week (yep we are mad)

Puffalicious · 27/04/2022 21:53

To echo others, the original Oodie is phenomenal. I'm sitting here in a pizza one (mine is an avocado but needing washed, so I borrow one of the kids')! It's so much thicker and heavier than the copies. I'm a cold person and live in Scotland, so mine is stuck to me. I got it for my birthday Nov 2020 and it's the BEST thing I've ever bought. All through 2nd lockdiwn no heating during the day. Bought the 3 kids and my niece and DH theirs for the Xmas after and they've been a roaring success (the 6 pack was amazing value).

We've just bought a campervan and they'll be perfect.

That's a great price- hope you've gone for it.

Use code spring 35 for discount .

I love one that I got from EBay! I'm pretty sure it's called the Sienna hoodie blanket. It's just like the Oodie I think.
Have just had a look and they're reduced (no doubt because it's nearly winter Grin) but I'm in Scotland and it's still freezing, so will probably treat myself.

Seconded. I adore mine. Got it on Amazon.

Drywhitefruitycidergin · 27/04/2022 22:02

I have a real one and a fake one. Real one is much thicker & longer and super warm & snuggly BUT
the arms on it are so big I keep knocking things over and it's a real pita, so I do switch between them.

SkankingWombat · 27/04/2022 22:13

I see you've bought the Oodies now OP, but for anyone else, Kudd.ly regularly have 1 for £39 or 2 for £49 offers on if you follow them on Facebook. The Kudd.ly is longer than an Oodie, which was a big selling point for me as well as the lower price.

Wannabegreenfingers · 27/04/2022 22:18

Have a replica and an Oodie. Oodie all the way.

ByTheSea · 27/04/2022 22:18

I have Kuddly and an oodie, both lovely quality. Right now there is an offer where you can get 2 kuddli for £49.

iRun2eatCake · 27/04/2022 22:19

I don't "get" the fuss over them. Wish l did as my sister gave me one..

Where are you finding the bogof? I’ve just looked and it’s two for £109?

Use the code BOGO - I just tested it and it definitely works.

Use code BNDL with kuddly for 2 for 49 or 4 for 79.

DockOTheBay · 28/04/2022 09:36

I have a dunelm one. Its very warm and thick. Any thicker and I would be far too hot. So if oodies are thicker than that, then I wouldn't bother!
The dunelm one was about £15 I think, so about 1/3 the price of an oodie. I can't imagine they're 3x bigger .

I don't have an Oodie one but DH got me a Lucy Locket Loves wearable blanket for Christmas alongside some workout leggings I had my eye on and the blanket is amazing, I've used it so much already. I'm lounging in it right now instead of having the heating on and it's so soft and cosy. I could sit and stroke it for hours. BlushGrin

BrioNotBiro · 28/04/2022 13:08

What is everyone wearing to keep your bottom halves warm while wearing Oodies or similar on your top halves?

My oodie goes down to my knees. I've never really needed to worry about keeping my calves warm.

Feet - socks or slippers.

SkankingWombat · 28/04/2022 16:30

I have fluffy slipper socks or if it's really cold I wear bootee slippers. My legs don't get cold when I'm standing in the Kudd.ly & socks. When sat on the sofa, I either tuck my legs into the Kudd.ly or throw a blanket over them, depending on how I want to sit.

I don't have an Oodie, but do have a Kudd.ly which is v similar in price and quality. I also have a cheapie from Amazon. The Kudd.ly is MUCH warmer, thicker and nicer.

I love my Kudd.ly. Worth every penny
