To write my neighbour a letter

They’re not a next door neighbour think number 85 and 65 type neighbours.

We’ve lived here 4.5 years, obviously in 2020 started walking lots. Noticed that on their front garden wall (the one which joins their garden to their next door neighbour) is a boot. A womens shoe. This was in 2020. The boot is still there.

WIBU to write an anonymous letter asking them what their intention is with this boot? It’s a black, suede ankle boot with a 2 inch heel. We only spotted it cos we thought it was a cat (lockdown led us to going cat spotting on our daily walks ffs).

This sounds like my neighbours, they leave random objects in their front garden for weeks, the reason is they are lazy bastards

My neighbour still has their Christmas decorations out at the front of their house. I think perhaps you and I should both be writing letters here!

Personally I'm with the idea of adding to it ... a slipper, a strappy stiletto, a welly boot, a baby shoe, whatever

With enough creatvity you could have a proper art installation there
