trib.al/ov5g0nj I can’t stand the throes but agree with this

OP posts:
Inkanta · 06/04/2022 22:19

Yes thank you for your straight forward plain speaking Boris. Needed to be said.

UsernameNotAvailableHmm · 06/04/2022 22:20

Me too
100% Agree with Boris
Labour has lost me forever

HRTQueen · 06/04/2022 22:20

Shocked it’s taken so long for the good old critical thinking of posters being questioned Shock

Porcupineintherough · 06/04/2022 22:21

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Has anyone said that yet?

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

TheKeatingFive · 06/04/2022 22:21

then I can see why Kier stumbled because he’s also trying to be sympathetic to the trans community.

Both Wes and Boris managed this without tripping themselves up multiple times on basic biology. It isn't actually that difficult.

Alarchbach · 06/04/2022 22:22

Boris is a cock and I’d never vote for him.. but as much as it pains me to say it, he’s right.

Inkanta · 06/04/2022 22:22

Yes. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day!

Turningpurple · 06/04/2022 22:23

It such a shit situation.

Praising a generally shitty politician for stating the obvious.

How did we get here?

Westchesterarms · 06/04/2022 22:23

@Iggly
So I don’t trust him to actually deliver.
You might be right he won't deliver and you might be wrong. But we know for certain that none of the other parties will deliver. So it's him or nothing really.

You don’t know that actually. Plenty of Labour politicians have been sensible on this but they don’t get prime interviews on Sky.

But I do know that actually. Because the leaders of all the parties have stated what they believe and what their policies are. And those Labour politicians, even if they have been "sensible" and I don't know what that means they've said, are not the leader of the party. Now if you're saying that one of them is going to start a coup against Starmer and they win, then I might change my mind.

DogStrummer · 06/04/2022 22:23

@Zonder

I could weep that some people are actually going to vote Tory because Johnson has said this. We can't trust him. He hates women and treats them like shit. The whole government treat women like shit. If you vote Tory based on this article then you are voting against women.
Starmer is on video, and was quoted on the record, as supporting self ID. He can't even define a woman.

Rosie Duffield. Look at what she's had to put up with.

How is it possible to be more anti-women, than that?

Inkanta · 06/04/2022 22:24

Didn't JK Rowling say this too and gets loads of grief.

Toloveandtowork · 06/04/2022 22:25

Someone needed to say something, a leader-type character and Boris had the, er, decency, to say it. For whatever reason he said it, thank fuck.

PenStation · 06/04/2022 22:25

Johnson is a lying twat. Why are you even bothering to listen to him. He has zero integrity.

crimesagainstwine · 06/04/2022 22:26

@Zonder

Save your crocodile tears and hyperbole - the whole political system treats women as second class citizens

I won't vote Tory but I also won't vote for any party that does not recognise my sex

It's that simple

chaosrabbitland · 06/04/2022 22:26

@RufustheFloralmissingreindeer

Honestly, the fawning is embarrassing

There isn’t any fawning… mainly just people saying that they agree with him (usually linked with things like ‘hate boris but he’s right on this one)

its one thing to agree with him , its another to declare in lovestruck fashion boris has your vote now , all the other lies and cockups and policies dont matter a fuck , this one thing hes said will have lots of fawning women and yes i agree with the poster who says it fawning vote for him , even though its just another lie and will get washed away under whatever other horrors or calamaties happen .
TheBigDilemma · 06/04/2022 22:26

Oh FGS! He doesn’t give a hoot about these things, he has just revealed his re election campaign theme. Pretty much like the big bus plot.

nolongersurprised · 06/04/2022 22:26

If you vote Tory based on this article then you are voting against women

If Labour have their way “women” becomes meaningless, and includes men.

Men are men, transwomen are women and women are vulva owners and birthing people.

If the term “women” includes men there are no women’s rights.

Westchesterarms · 06/04/2022 22:27

@Iggly

Let’s play guess the politician.

Who very recently said Men have penises, women have vaginas, here ends my biology lesson?

Umm, was it the one who said men can grow a cervix?
Historyherstory · 06/04/2022 22:28

@Zonder - what choice do we have??? This is huge. Starmer has dug his own grave. I can’t think middle England will ever vote Labour again tbh, not after the embracing trans everywhere

I can’t forgive the other Tory mess however: most notably:

  • lack of ventilation in schools
  • pandemic chumocracy & £billions wasted
  • austerity policies affecting the disabled
  • lack of action on climate change (nuclear power wtf?!)

So many more reasons NOT to vote Tory but… in my mind the balance looks something like:

Tories: shit for everyone except mega-wealthy or Putin cronies but SAFER for women

Labour: horrific for women

so now I agree with Jacob Rees Mogg AND Boris Johnson. What a day. Still getting my head around this. Interested to find out about my own MP though…

TheKeatingFive · 06/04/2022 22:28

He doesn’t give a hoot about these things

Sure, but the fact that he isn't afraid to acknowledge basic biological fact puts him streets ahead of the opposition

DrSbaitso · 06/04/2022 22:29

@Inkanta

Didn't JK Rowling say this too and gets loads of grief.
Yes. She's been threatened with death and rape night and day for over two years for it by male people. They also attempted to intimidate her by gathering outside her house and spreading the address (it was in the public domain but they brought it to the attention of many people who wouldn't have known it otherwise), and tried to a Twitter thread she had to showcase children's artwork with offensive and distressing images. They've created fake screenshots of things she never said and spread them all over the Internet. All while claiming to be women.
magicofthefae · 06/04/2022 22:30

@ZaZathecat

There are more important issues at stake in the next election though, like not leaving the poor and vulnerable to starve.
I agree with Boris on this one thing.....but still never gonna vote Tory for this reason. I would rather let a transgender individual win in a sports race (trivial in comparison to food and fuel poverty, housing crisis etc), than vote for a Tory party whose policies actively promote the poor getting poorer and increased levels of child poverty etc (truly serious matters). This is a classic Tory deflection, they can't deliver on the real issues that matter, so let's distract the masses with an 'in vogue' albeit comparatively trivial matter.
RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 06/04/2022 22:30

and yes i agree with the poster who says it fawning

Saying you will vote for someone is not fawning

It just isn’t…you go ahead and believe that but its still not fawning

DrSbaitso · 06/04/2022 22:31

Tried to hijack. Fuck you, autocorrect.

SirVixofVixHall · 06/04/2022 22:31

@UsernameNotAvailableHmm

Me too 100% Agree with Boris Labour has lost me forever
Same. Think I might actually vote Tory this time , which would be a first for me.
