For me, Topshop. Was really gutted when it closed down. Restaurant: Herman ze German. Expensive but always enjoyed the food!

Does anyone else remember Cooplands bakery? My grandparents used to take me there to choose a cake when I was very little and I invariably came out clutching a gingerbread man. I can still smell the shop now. It's so comforting and always makes me smile Smile
We also still have Cooplands!

Yes I still see Cooplands. I use them whenever I can.

So do I! I like the big oblong bread buns in the bags of 6, the cheese straws and the ginger squares. And the brandy butter mince pies they have at Christmas are the best ones anywhere 😊

There was a homeward shop in Kent called The Merchant Chandler. I loved browsing that place and got some fab pieces there. I miss my local John Lewis that shut down last year. I miss Debenhams blue zoo kids clothes, bhs home department, mothercare. I remember John Menzies, and we had a cd store (not hmv though, I can’t remember it’s name) that as teens, we’d spend ages browsing and buying the 99p singles.
Oh yes marchenr

Oh I clicked to soon
I used to love chandler. Use to spend many teenage days in there instead of school. Don't know what happened it just sort of disappeared

I've not done much clothes shopping in the last 2 years, I'm going to really miss Debenhams.

And while the whole brand hasn't gone, I'm very sorry the Cotswold has closed in my town.

I miss Jigsaw. We had it in Australia for about 30 years, but Covid killed their business here and now they don't even do online to Australia.
Such beautiful clothes, and I'm glad now that I bought so many of them!
