I’ve heard a couple of times Boris Johnson comment on Ian Blackford’s weight.

How is this okay?

You wouldn’t comment to a colleague about them “eating all the pies” so why is it okay for Boris to?

In front of so many people too…I know some will say it’s “banter” but I’m sure that’s been an excuse for a lot ot negative comments about people on the past.

Am I being over sensitive to think our PM shouldn’t be making such comments?

He shouldn't. But he got elected despite all the horrendous shit he's said and done to a ridiculous amount of people, so he probably sees no reason to stop.

This. He has made racist, Islamophobic, and homophobic comments. He can do whatever he likes, it would seem. Even now there are plenty of people willing to vote for his corrupt party, with him at the helm.

I am not a fan of BJ at all, far from it, BUT to put it another way, he has been honest about his fatness and has lost at least 2 stones since he had Covid- see the before and after pics.

I may be wrong but I can't see Keir Starmer fat (or any other shaming ) anyone. He really does come across as a thoroughly decent man. Has anyone listened to him on Desert Island discs ? It is good.

Out of all the unacceptable things that Johnson has said and done just this last year, fat shaming another MP is way down a very long list.

He is intellectually, ethically and morally completely unfit to be Prime Minister, and the last thing he is is a Conservative if you look at the social and economic meaning of the word and the policies that Tory governments have had over the last 100 years.

However, it seems enough voters look at him and think "yes, he's the guy I want representing my country on the world stage, and leading my government" for him to be not only elected, but retain the confidence of his party. It's utterly baffling to me.
