Are there any woman in the public eye who look younger than their years?

It comes up quite regularly on MN, where people comment that really nobody of say 40+ looks much younger than their actual age.

But plenty of other women do say they genuinely get taken for younger. So it's obviously quite individual.

Are there any women in the public eye who do look younger, do you think?

I find this fascinating as I am truly shit at guessing anybody's age! Which I suspect could be something to do with being neurodivergent - I just don't 'see' the small giveaways.

How would we know? Surely we'd assume they were the age they looked or seemed?

Nicole Kidman (54!)

I think she looks quite old, frankly older than 54, but it's Hollywood old. Kind of a skeletal look on the body, scrawny next, face with not enough real fat in the cheeks but frozen and fillers, tight skin.

And if you see her trying to act, like a lot of the actresses with botox, their range of expression is very impaired.

I think a lot of times in magazines the article confuses people who look younger and who are just very good looking. Like Jennifer Aniston, I'm not sure she looks much younger than she is. She's just very good looking. Same with Helen mirren.

I think Vera Wang, Cecile Tyson, alexis bledel, Gabrielle Union, gwen Stefani and rita moreno look younger than their age

If you look at the first season of Friends, you can see that JA doesn't look young now. She is really well groomed and fit, with a nice face. But it doesn't have the softness it did when she was actually in her 20s.

Personally I think Susie Dent has gone too far. Got that Barry Manilow thing happening.

It's also happening in reverse though where 20 something celebs look 10 yrs older dice to tweaks.

Marisa Tomei (sp) is 57 looks amazing.

Also Michelle Yeoh is 59 and looks great.

Kirsty Wark doesn't look 67 imo. She also doesn't look as though she's had work done.

Definitely no work. But she looks very similar to most of my late 60s friends so I think she looks her age.

Hasn't Gwen Stefani had a load of work done? She looks nothing like she did in the 90s.

More plastic surgery than you can shake a stick at!!!! She has completely lost her natural beauty and comes across as a woman desperately trying to hold on to sexiness and youth.

Exactly !! The women reeks of desperation, dressing up like a Hollywood star everyday to present her crappy heart Fm radio show and getting photographed. Plus 51 isn't exactly old.

There must be some very good looking people on this thread if they think that it's only hair extensions collagen and botox that stop them looking exactly the same as a super model or other celebrity renowned for their looks! Some women are more beautiful than others, some look younger older, a refusal to accept it doesn't stop it being true. Looks inequality is a fact of life as is the disparity between how the aging process affects different women. Either accept it, or use the tricks you think they have up their sleeves to do likewise if it grinds your gears so much. But pretending they look the same as the rest of us is as deluded as some people accuse them of being with the "they don't look younger REALLY, they just think they do" comments. Most of the women mentioned on this thread look amazing imo and very young for their age.
