Interested to hear some opinions. What do you think of her? I was just reading a Dailymail article where she and William are in Belize and people are complaining about them flaunting their lives and all that. People struggling and Ukraine on fire, etc and Kate and William are rubbing it in people's faces. What do you think? Yes, they definitely have it better than a lot of people but in one sense I also feel that she has to thread on eggshells being in the public eye so much. Say one thing she'll be crucified but if she says something else it will be the same, she can't win regardless of what she says or do. If she acknowledges and openly says that she's got it easy with her luxury lifestyle people will scream down her neck about that too. What do you think? What's your view on Kate?

But the plasters are always in her fingers, not the back of her hands.

Greatexpectations77 · 11/01/2024 22:48

@Malteser71 What plasters?

Malteser71 · 13/01/2024 10:23

there’s been speculation for years every time Kate appears with a plaster on her fingers. A previous poster suggests this is linked to having an earring disorder (Russell’s sign).

But sores from Russell’s sign are on the knuckles, and Kate’s plasters are on her fingers.

I personally think she just gets cuts like any normal human, but she’s under pressure to look nice, so she covers them up!

I think she’s incredibly slender, but she has a chef to prepare meals, I bet I’d be a lot thinner if I had a chef.

Malteser71 · 13/01/2024 10:23

Though h I’ve never heard of an earring disorder. Maybe that’s a thing now.

LBFseBrom · 14/01/2024 22:11

I'm always cutting and burning my fingers and hands, minor things but often need a plaster. I don't think we can assume the Princess has an eating disorder because of that or because she is slender. People with anorexia nervosa/bulimia long-termhave a completely different look about them and they are not just slender, they look skeletal, with haunting faces. Kate looks fit and healthy.

dottiedodah · 14/01/2024 22:19

Seems a pleasant woman. Very privileged of course. Seems to be able to look good and fit the bill on her many assignments. Didn't know william had had one affair yet alone loads though

Mybumlooksbig · 14/01/2024 22:33

She seems beautiful but as dull as dish water.

Is it not dull as ditch water?? Have I been saying it wrong all these years?!

KarenNotAKaren · 15/01/2024 00:40

William has not had one affair. A sycophantic attention seeking fan of H&M tweeted an allegation years ago but there’s absolutely no foundation for it whatsoever.

pilates · 15/01/2024 06:40

I thought it was ditchwater too 😀

No proof of affair - nasty made up rumour to discredit William.

I would never vouch for any man let alone a man that I don’t even know.
Very strange

newnamethanks · 15/01/2024 11:01

Who knows what the royals do with their genitalia? Who cares? Far too many of you apparently. Just passing through to remark it's Ditch water I.e. muddy undrinkable water found at the bottom of a ditch. It's dull in contrast to the clear and potable water we used to take from our unpolluted rivers and springs before water companies decided to regularly fill them with sewage.

He’ll be the first male monarch in history not to then.

newnamethanks · 15/01/2024 14:21

Who knows? He might start a fashion for fidelity amongst the royals.

CounsellorTroi · 15/01/2024 14:27

It’s accepted amongst the aristocracy/royalty. You make a suitable marriage, produce an heir and spare and then amuse yourself with mistresses/lovers.

My friend has had bulimia for decades (even when pregnant with her 7 children!). I have to say, she has never looked skeletal nor haunted. She’s never had ‘Russell’s signs’ either and I’ll confess I’d never heard of it until this thread.

I don’t think Kate has bulimia. She’s far too disciplined and sensible.

Prince Albert has never known to have an affair

KarenNotAKaren · 15/01/2024 19:30

I have to say it’s a bit ghoulish IMO to be speculating on the eating disorder of a stranger. She may just very thin because that’s how she likes to look

Maybe in the 80’s but not so much now

He wasn’t a monarch.

Castlerock44 · 16/01/2024 00:08

I find it strange when people say they haven't an opinion on her "because they don't know her". Surely we all have an opinion on people in the public eye, especially the royal family..... We don't know them but we judge them on what we see of them.

So many say they loved the queen and Diana but they didn't know them personally. We just formed "opinions" of them.

KarenNotAKaren · 16/01/2024 00:09

CounsellorTroi · 16/01/2024 00:00

He wasn’t a monarch.

He was a consort though for many years and a prince in his own country and still didn’t have a mistress

You seem just a tad desperate for William to be having an affair. It’s a bit odd

pilates · 16/01/2024 05:56

Yes I find it odd too Karen. How can you speculate without proof. It just makes you look like an idle gossip.

newnamethanks · 16/01/2024 07:04

'Far too disciplined and sensible to have an eating disorder'. What an interesting observation. Have you informed the psychiatric profession of your opinion? I think it would be very helpful to them when assessing patients and halve the numbers overnight. This is not a comment on PoW by the way, I've no idea about her eating habits.

MsTSwift · 16/01/2024 07:43

Both her parents have slim frames so she is slim genetically anyway
