To think this isn't normal re DS 12

Ds got a tech ban this weekend due to unacceptable behaviour yesterday. The bam is for 3 weeks as things have been getting out of hand with how he has been, increasingly rude, shouty, downright aggressive at times.

He is in his bed crying and i mean wailing because he will miss the new fortnight update. When he stops crying he just stares at the wall and doesn't do anything at. All.

I am worried this is a sign of gaming addiction or depression, i don't know.

Any advice welcomed

Not all forms of socialising are positive. There are other ways to socialise, and other games.

Yep. Find it really surprising so many will defend a game just because it involves socialising. I mean, so does grooming. Doesn't mean it's automatically a good thing.

😂 3 weeks is long?! I got so sick of bad behaviour when asking my 10 year old to come off the iPad I removed it for 6 months! Yes I have tried short term ramifications and she knew it would happen. Plus it wasn't done in anger, we sat down together and I explained I was concerned she was struggling with the emotional and mental effect of it.

Talk to him. Don't cave, but there may be more going on than you realise.

Thanks jungle. Hang in there. Fortnite is like a gateway drug ime. Seems fairly innocent and then as they get better and better its actually totally over stimulating, violent and addictive.

Fortnite isn't violent. Think you've outed yourself as a troll with that. Hopefully anyway.

Interesting these threads about kids gaming behaviour are always about Fortnite despite it being one of the milder PUGB games and always appear after an update....
