Currently redecorating (hence user name) and looking for inspiration for pictures or prints to go on the walls. All the sites I'm looking at are full of stuff like this! Surely no one IRL actually has stuff like this on their walls?

DH and I once got home after a dinner with friends and they had a Latin phrase on the kitchen wall and Life, Love, Laughter on the upstairs lighting.

DH and I chortle all the way home. I suggested "FUCK" above the bed but he vetoed it.

I have successfully avoided all this inspirational quote print nonsense...
up until now...
recently widowed MIL presented us with a framed thing on the subject of Being Kind that she bought for our newly decorated walls whilst on one of her first shopping trips out afterwards.

I just try not to make eye contact with it (it directly faces you as you come in the front door)

I'll admit the Shits and Giggles one made me snigger though

My best friend bought me a framed print which said, "Live, Laugh, Lube" as a joke and that does make me giggle it's not displayed anywhere guests might see though

The problem is that everyone who owns a Cricut or other laser cutter thing seems to start a business. I own up to one thing but only because my daughter made it with her stupid expensive gadget - it sits on the utility windowsill

Rest of artwork is random shit found in odd shops or on eBay, DH likes (cheap) sports memorabilia so picks up things on eBay, don't think anything has been more than £20 - stuff like Ryder cup signed photos, some motor racing stuff, a couple of old football pics

And the fact it says "inquire" does bug me! Mind you she hand drew me a Lion King Scar card saying "I'm surronded [sic] by idiots" which was unintentionally funnier than it was meant to be

these things are so bad, they made me want to vomit

Anyone able to relate to this one? Anyone??

I'm not keen on those either OP, they're probably more suited to student digs than a family lounge.
