Currently redecorating (hence user name) and looking for inspiration for pictures or prints to go on the walls. All the sites I'm looking at are full of stuff like this! Surely no one IRL actually has stuff like this on their walls?

I have photos of landscapes which are local to me. Being in Wales there so many places i live and theres an photographer who print and mounts the photos. Sells them for £15 and they fit in an A4 frame you can buy yourself. Thats his point. He wants art to be affordable. I have 6 o my wall, £90 fir photos and frames from Ikea.

OP, have a look on Facebook or Instagram for local artists. Much better than generic prints

I wouldn't want them. My partner picked some pictures he liked, for me to consider having on our walls. One he picked was a nude lady, in the bath tube, you could see her nipples. I was like why, would I want a knaked lady on my wall, I can see my own nipples, if I wanted to see nipples. 🤦‍♀️

I'm a cleaner amd yes, loads of people have them!

I do get annoyed at seeing Namaste written next to swear words or used in an offensive or silly way. I doubt there are Hindu households with "Jesus loves you, go fuck yourself" wall art.

Why not take your boy and go take photographs of things outside you both like. Get them printed as A3 and poster size and get clip frames for them. Doesn't cost that much to get them printed and clip frames are not expensive either.

If you want prints or posters, try your local art gallery shop. I have a poster from the Picasso Museum in Barcelona in my kitchen and I love it. You can buy from gallery shops online too. Or, if you want the real thing, try visiting art school degree shows in June. Students will be delighted to sell you their work.

Argos have some lovely reasonably priced wall art. Another thing you can do as a family is complete a really nice jigsaw and frame it to hang on the wall.

I detest these and anything similar.

I think you’d be surprised by how many people have these in their house…..
but I am also equally horrified at the amount of utter tat that is for sale and one has to wonder if even half the ‘shops’ on Etsy make at money at all.

Nasty tacky and tasteless - tbh I don't know why people waste money on this type of thing with slogans or "jokes" on their walls anyway

Find an image online, download it and get it printed by Bonusprint then buy a frame

Given my age and degree of decrepitude, I actually laughed at the third offering. Would I hang it in my house? Possibly, in the bathroom, but I am admittedly a bit odd, and no one would think twice about it.
