I am shocked to read H&B is owned by Russians and the some Lush soaps are made in Russia will you boycott these stores ?

I boycott them anyway. Lush stinks to high heaven and has pushy shop assistants and H&B flog overpriced crap.

They're both rubbish stores.

I boycott Lush anyway and I haven't shopped in Holland & Barrett for about 2 years so no hardship there!

My nearest Lush store is too far away to travel to regularly, I don't want to pay for delivery from their website because I'm not a massive fan of their products anyway, and I don't shop at Holland & Barrett... so yes!
If I had shopped at either, I would have looked for alternatives if possible.

Ditto. I was already boycotting Lush due to the potential to catch thrush from the products and H and B are so expensive it’s unreal

It was hard to have any belief in Holland and Barrett when they stocked and promoted diet coffee.

Where did you find the info on Lush please? All i can find is info saying they produce some products in Russsia for their Russian store?

They are not stores that most people use anyway so I am surprised they are still going, these stores should have disappeared years ago so no great hardship to not use them, I never did anyway

I think anyone who might boycott a shop for ethical reasons won't be shopping at Lush already. The way they treat their staff is awful amongst many other problems.

I'm not boycotting any shop run by 'Russians', the sanctions are meant to be targeted at anyone close to Putin.

I can't find any info on the Lush situation, but can see that they've given products to Ukrainian and Russian refugees and those in need. I'd like to continue supporting them considering their stance on trans rights, but happily boycott H&B as there's proof of their Russian involvement.

I shop in H&B about twice a month, usually spending a couple of pounds but won't be doing it any more.

Yes. This naive 'anything Russian = bad' narrative that's going around is really disturbing. It's as if they've suddenly become totally acceptable targets for xenophobia.

Ordinary Russians aren't responsible for Putin's decisions.

I won't be boycotting H&B - how does it punish an oligarch by making people in Britain unemployed? They literally have more money than they could ever spend - H&B etc is fly shit to them.
I also will not be boycotting Russian goods - Russian people are not Putin!
This sort of shit can easily spill into bullying people because they happen to come from a specific part of the world.

How would you have felt if the rest of the world had boycotted British shops when Tony Blair invaded Iraq!? Or if people in Ireland right now boycotted UK shops, since you know, you never bothered to leave the Irish alone, did you? Never like H&B - find their stores depressing. Never really knew why.

Used to like Lush but you can't go in with out being harangued so I stopped.
