Just been reading up on this and it's fascinating.

One of mine is the monopoly man not having a monocle, I could've swore he did.

Anyone else have any good ones?

April Levine music video to Sk8ter boy. I swear the original video has the girl sat at home with a baby watching the boy on mtv and her in the crowd at his concert. But no search can find that video. Lots of people remember it, others don’t.

The last line of "We are the champions" by Queen. The Mandela effect is everyone thinks the line is " "No time for losers, cos we are the champions- of the world" The last line is in fact" NO time for losers cos we are the champions" No one knows where the " Of the world" bit comes from. I have a very very vivid memory of Freddie singing it, but it never happened !

I have one from my own life. Friend's dad is a good laugh and has a nickname (have changed this slightly), Dodie. I swear he was always called that... that is how I always heard it pronounced by others, and how I pronounced it.
Then years later I am told it is Duddy, not Dodie. And from then on I only hear people calling him that. Occasionally I complain to my friends that it definitely was Dodie before and that I've slipped into a parallel universe 😄

Yes! I am sure they used to be sketchers as well, I had a pair in my teens when Britney Spears modelled them and was really surprised when a few years ago I bought a pair and they said Skechers.

Another vivid memory I have is Neil Buchanan from art attack dying of colon cancer. I believed he was dead for years until I watched a citv anniversary show and they had him commentating on his time on the show, very much alive. I have a memory of seeing news articles about his illness and death and of talking about it with other people but apparently it never happened.

It's because in Lays, the onion and vinegar packet colours are swapped round.

Amusingly the big one for me is the Mandela one. I swear I remember him dying decades ago.

Does the number of US states count as an example? It's so common for people to think there are 52 and it drives me bonkers.

I was taught this in primary school 😭 we were taught that there were 50 inland states and that Alaska and Hawaii made 52

On some lyric web pages it says ‘ of the world’ on other wage pages it doesn’t have the last bit on. 🤷‍♀️
