Just been reading up on this and it's fascinating.

One of mine is the monopoly man not having a monocle, I could've swore he did.

Anyone else have any good ones?

The last line of "We are the champions" by Queen. The Mandela effect is everyone thinks the line is " "No time for losers, cos we are the champions- of the world" The last line is in fact" NO time for losers cos we are the champions" No one knows where the " Of the world" bit comes from. I have a very very vivid memory of Freddie singing it, but it never happened !

The Google lyrics are wrong for we are the champions. Watch the official music video, it ends at 'we are the champions'. He never sings, 'of the world'

I’ve just listened to We are the champions on Queen’s YouTube channel and the official video really doesn’t have a “of the world” at the end Confused - but the live aid video and the official live video both do so I’m inclined to believe that Freddie added it himself?

My false memory - not sure if shared with anyone else - is that I was certain that Fidel Castro had died, I even remembered his funeral, so I was quite surprised when he actually died Grin

Just listened to We Are The Champions on Spotify and it ends on the word "champions". No "of the world". But the Live Aid version adds it at the end.

Ok my personal one, is the Union Jack. I swear that it was always a completely symmetrical design. Then last year I noticed in a picture that it looked wrong, that the inner red/white X shape was assymetrical….and said, oh, look, they’ve got the flag wonky. It turns out ALL the flags in this reality are wonky!!! I must have skipped over from an alternate dimension last year. Where I come from, Union Jacks are symmetrical.

(I actually had to just go and check again before I posted this, because I’m still not 100% convinced).

Also remember hearing Freddie Mercury singing of the world at some point and definitely think the Union Jack is meant to be perfectly symmetrical!

It gets some people wound up, if it's hung upside down! I couldn't figure out how they knew until I had the same revelation!

Re, we are the champions official live video ends of the world, so it's not really a mandella effect. The official album version and official live version are slightly different but not misremembered.

I always thought the upside down thing was something barely perceptible to do with the “margin” on the left side where the flagpole goes through. I don’t know. It was definitely symmetrical in my universe! Blush

I even went and checked the Union Jack logo on my old Karrimor backpack I travelled round the world with for years, and that was fecking wonky as well. Although the newer version is stylised and symmetrical. The one on my trusty old backpack, that was essentially my only permanent home for 4 years, was wonky. Grr. Blimmin shifting reality.

I remember learning there were fifty two states in the US as well.

The Union Jack was never symmetrical, I remember colouring in flags way back in the infants to celebrate Prince Andrew and Fergie's wedding and the teacher explaining which way round they were meant to go.

I just googled the union jack. I had no idea it wasn't symmetrical. I'm not british but did live in the UK when I was a child. I never noticed...

I think the 52 States of America comes from the fact that in schools they use to teach its 50 States of America and Alaska and Hawaii instead of Its 50 States of America including Alaska and Hawaii

that's why people complain when the are hung upside down....because its possible

The fifty states Of America is easy to remember (well for me anyway) Just think of the TV series Hawaii Five-0, Hawaii being the last state added.
