I think this one isn’t impossible - it’s not unusual for there to be more than one version of a music video. If, for example, the Avril Levine VEVO account is quite active in getting unofficial uploads taken down, it could be that the official account has only uploaded the North American version, and it’s hard to find the European one. This is all pure guesswork on my part, but it’s not impossible.

I remember when I was young, no one else remembered the original version of the ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ video. It definitely exists though, because they showed it in a 80s bar I was in the other night!

That is not the end of the song in the clip you posted. It's been faded out part way through the song.

It’s Kylie driving around Melbourne in an open-top car - I think it was made for about £3.50 when the record first came out, as no one has realised how big it was going to be. It was actually shown on Top of the Pops, but the famous bubble bath video soon replaced it - I’m guessing it was made pretty quickly once PWL/Mushroom realised they had a hit on their hands.

That's what I thought, too. But there's absolutely no reference anywhere to a second music video ever having been made. And on reflection, given that it's fairly expensive to make them, I'd've thought there'd have to be a very sound reason to make two - some sort of cultural faux pas in one, for example. Or a legal dispute with the director. Can't see any suggestion of that.

All I can think is that there was at the time another music video with a young mum in it, and we've all supplanted the 'genuine' AL
vid, with that.

I remember the first Kylie video. If I recall it was made by her Australian record label before she moved over to PWL & made them even richer. Don’t know why they made another video though, the one in the car was fine!

It was Yell who did Let’s Go Round Again. 1992ish? They were a very insipid boy and duo and it was the follow up to their first hit (instant replay). I remember this because I remember thinking it was stupid that the titles instant replay and let’s go round again had more or less the same meaning.

@Mapletreelane she definitely had braces! Moonraker is my favourite bond film and I always loved that part as she smiles and shows her braces and jaws smiles to show his teeth or the other way round

Nothing whatsoever to do with the Mandela Effect, but did you know that the gangster films Kevin watches in Home Alone and Home Alone 2 aren’t real films? They made the clips up for the Home Alone films.
