Just that really. Sociopathic Patel refusing visas. In a time where we need leadership & empathy & intelligence there's a ducking idiot at the helm & Rees~Mogg making a fortune with insider trading.
Who the hell will admit to being so sociopathically selffish & grabby to still vote Tory?

Think we’d better start another one then 🤣

Did Ralf Little hog all the toilet rolls?

Enterthewolves · 24/10/2023 23:54

@Clavinova as entertaining as your scatalogical obsession is I’m off to bed, watch your bile doesn’t give you heartburn and keep you up all night.

Your heart of gold and charming personality are as effervescent as a bottle of sparkling nettle wine (organic of course).

I wasn’t stockpiling loo roll

Yes you did. I bet you agonised over school catchment areas, organic wine and handmade kitchens as well.

You appear to be voting on self interest and fuck the poor, & disabled, fuck the environment and our children’s future - in fact fuck anyone that isn’t you. Fair enough, it’s a democracy vote for whoever you will, but know that we see you for what you are.

Why don't you spend less on luxuries for yourself and give more money to charity?

Oh Clav.🤦‍♀️. When you get to the stage where you're imagining stuff about strangers and believing it's true, it's time for bed.

Think happy thoughts: the Tories might get enough seats to form the Opposition, and get some sleep.

Bad luck - you missed me by 20 minutes!

Good morning. Smile

(I wasn't imagining anything).

SerendipityJane · 25/10/2023 07:35

I have reported Clav to Tory HQ. Clearly they are a couple of pages behind in the shillmaster manual and haven't get got to the bit where we are supposed to encourage people to go on holiday to prop up our mates airlines and hotels business.

Good old Ralf. Well said.

One million children experienced destitution in 2022.

Keir Starmer has doubled down on his decision not to scrap the two-child benefit cap.

Keir Starmer has doubled down on his decision not to scrap the two-child benefit cap.

Yeah cos that £15 a week for a third child will make all the difference.

And that was a Tory decision in the first place so if you think it makes him look bad, how does it make the Tory leaders look?

Clavinova · 25/10/2023 07:49

Zonder
Yeah cos that £15 a week for a third child will make all the difference

Yes - it would. Have you not read the report?

Clavinova · 25/10/2023 07:54

People can’t work due to illness, frailty, disability and caring responsibilities (which save the state a huge amount of money) but you aren’t considering any of that.

Sir Keir Starmer repeatedly stressed that a Labour government would be “once again on the side of working people” and would “govern for working people” as “the party of working people”

So you think the Conservatives were wrong to impose the cap?

Clavinova · 25/10/2023 08:00

Most labour supporters I know have children in private school

I‘m a higher rate tax payer, so is my husband, so are many of our friends

Are they all toolmakers?

I think I would have allowed one more child per family.

Alexandra2001 · 25/10/2023 08:09

@Clavinova
you missed out; They had personal debts
That's not the government's fault - they should approach their loan provider/credit card company/Citizens Advice Centre for help

Do they give out money? or point you to a food bank? interest and penalties on debt can be huge, often far out weighs the original money owed plus of course monies borrowed are not always with high street lenders.

Bottom line is that rents have have increased, heating, food etc the Housing benefit part of UC has been frozen for years & CT support is very difficult to get, they ve also removed energy support, despite prices being almost double what they were 18 months ago.

If the govt has no responsibility for rising levels of poverty, who is?

Again, Clav you do a fantastic job of persuading floating voters to vote anyone but Tory.... well done! keep posting :)

Obviously - that's the point.

Clavinova · 25/10/2023 08:14

Do they give out money?

I would expect the Citizens Advice Centre to help negotiate reduced interest/lower repayment terms.

I thought you were a Jeremy Corbyn fan - have you thought of voting for The Green Party now instead?

Yes Corbyn had some good ideas, unfortunately he also had some crazy ones too, luckily is is no longer a Labour MP.... at least Starmer had the sense to remove him.... unlike some....

Unfortunately Truss (who you backed) just had crazy ones and still sits as a Tory.

The Tories putting her in power is reason enough never to vote Tory again.

Clavinova · 25/10/2023 08:37

Unfortunately Truss (who you backed)

I definitely said Sunak was my first choice - before Liz Truss was chosen.

Clavinova · 25/10/2023 08:42

Just been listening to LBC - they were discussing Keir Starmer and his comments regarding cutting off water and electricity in Gaza. Another example of Starmer lying - pretending he didn't say it.

Clavinova · 25/10/2023 08:44

Still discussing now.

Notonthestairs · 25/10/2023 08:51

Given extraordinary high levels of engagement this morning I wonder if we do need a second thread afterall.
I'd hate for posters to run out of road.
