Well their tv ratings would say different to the posts on this thread! I find them perfectly likeable. They have a warm, cheeky persona thing going on and are funny but never nasty. They take the mick out of themselves and obviously have a good friendship.
No one's forcing you to watch them. I never know why people bother to make threads pointing out things they dislike that supposedly everyone else likes.
We seem to be in a real minority here, but I agree. I don't like everything they do (not interested in I'm A Celebrity or BGT), Ant's drink-driving was outrageous and the drag thing from Saturday left a nasty taste in my mouth - but all in all, I think they're very good at what they do.
Their job is in light entertainment and that's what they do. They'd be useless presenting University Challenge, but then Paxo would do a terrible job hosting Saturday night ITV.
As you say, anything you can't stand on TV, just don't watch it; but huge numbers of people do want to watch them. I could say the same about sport and the soaps - to me, it's a load of boring rubbish, but I'm not going to criticise the millions who love them, nor claim they shouldn't be one choice of many on the nation's TV screens, just because I personally don't like them.
