To ask you to show me your gorgeous fancy houses?

There was a thread recently asking people to brag about their wonderful kids, it was really sweet!

It got me thinking, what about the homes we love and are super proud of? If you're anything like me your home is your castle and safe haven, and I just KNOW there are people here with ridiculously gorgeous spaces in their homes! (Self confessed house porn addict, love looking online at the new listings locally 🤣)

Soooo show me your fabulous houses, or even just little parts of them you absolutely love, brag about your achievements and hard earned beautiful homes ❤️

Theres no way i would show anyone my house online. I will never put a picture up with house in the background on fb either.

I had a school mum come round once when our kids were really friendly and she never spoke to me again once she had been.

You didn't tell her that you worked really hard for what you've got, did you?

Can I interest anyone in seeing my 3 bedroom semi detached that is not fancy nor a really really old house with a beautiful fireplace, but I still like it 😅 the first picture is the day we moved in(2 weeks ago- first mortgage-yay!) and the latter two are last week, we now have more pictures, more throws and blinds too! 😅

@JingsMahBucket, thanks! but no, he literally designed and built it himself. Drawings on the kitchen table and timber from Wickes. The cheapest equivalent, we could have got at the time 'off the peg' were came in at around 4k and thus was half that. Its insulated with 100mm kingspan too, offcuts and waste from local peeps doing loft conversions.

We don’t have a library but we do have a waterfall that’s especially full today after all this rain

Lockdown project, took two skips to remove the rubbish multiple owners had left behind the 7 massive leylandi that we had felled. We now have a lot more room in the garden. There are now 3 places to sit in the garden.

Gas pump is full of dvds. I’m trying to persuade my DH to get rid of them.

I got the chair from a junk shop - i think I paid a fiver for it. The shop has been closed now, cleared away to get naicer shops, but I really miss it. Picked up so many fantastic bargains there

Thanks for the love of my dolls house - a vintage 80s classic that used to be mine and now DD uses it to stuff socks, conkers and other tiny treasures into. Currently sitting in my kitchen doing some work, this is the one tidy corner that I try to keep clutter-free to make up for the “dirty plates on every surface” aesthetic of the rest of it

We are currently 13 month in to a building project with probably 2 months to go however I'm delighted with my kitchen despite it not being finished.

Loving these pictures. We live in a mansion 😄, but sadly only a bit of it! Built 1750. Most of our furniture is second hand, reclaimed, restored. Here's the before and after of our sitting room..... I still hate the curtains! For what we paid we'd be lucky to get a bedsit inside the M25.

OK, I can’t crop out ALL the mess, and it’s not ~fancy, but it was bloody hard work to get it from bed bugs, cigarette scent, Artex and a window that leaked every time a cloud went by to this point. And I do love the colour of the fireplace.

I love our place, it's not a big house but it's a lovely old barn conversion and the first house we've owned in a long time ( we rented for years after losing all our savings to buy and it took quite a few years to save again) .

We've had this place for 2.5 years now and I love it so much. Sorry it's all a bit country twee decor but we did just have a dressing room/study area put into the Master bedroom - it's larger than it sounds tbh 🤣.

Photo taken from my kitchen across our paddock of a dawn moon set, my living room and my bedroom. All other room apart from the kitchen are a bit dull I'm afraid.

I love seeing other people's places no matter how large or small, I love to see different types of houses all over the world. Love the nuclear bunker!
