Me and DP both do it, and ours resolved to different answers today ! I would have got his answer in 3, and he would have got mine in 3 ! Have seen reports of the ‘split site’ problem, in addition my answer was unfairly vague I think, anyone else perplexed this morning ? On a serious note, it’s given us plenty to talk about, though my brain is a bit tired 😁

If it's the word I got, it's not a flipping Greek word! Well no more than television is Greek/Latin anyway.
It's origin is Greek, but it's fairly common in English parlance.

Ignore me - I'm taking about todays word, not Agora.

eddiemairswife · 20/02/2022 20:18

Television is a hybrid; 'tele' is Greek. 'vision' is Latin.

Today's wordle is interesting- Not quite slang, used in Aus but I wonder whether it is widely used in the US.
Feeling quite smug as I got the Quordle today in 7 guesses.
Go me!

I had to go back to yesterday's word @RainingYetAgain as I was being obtuse. Hours away cleared my befuddled brain fog! I wouldn't reckon m any Americans would know that word.

@eddiemairswife

Television is a hybrid; 'tele' is Greek. 'vision' is Latin.
I think you'll find that's what I said.
